Are there any genes with that sequence.
Good grief, no.
Completely wrong letters for the most part. (Only nucleobase in there is G)
Plus, Genes are huge, a string that small would be a fragmentary part.
New update today has a hidden link. The link is actually broken, but I changed it to fit the format of the previous hidden link, and it sent me here:

GENE THERAPY links to the pdf on the main site.
The letters GFIIOLID are bolded. Doesn't seem to be an anagram.
VIGILO CONFIDO
WELCOME BACK, COMMANDER.
Fuck yes. I am now officially hyped for this announcement.
Oh man, imagine this: Cyberpunk X-COM vs. Alien Opressors
My body wasn't ready
This E3 is going to be the best one in quite some time.
Not saying much honestly
The hype is real.
X-COM: Apocalypse was really my favorite, favorite X-COM. Researching all the possibilities (live or dead) of different Aliens gave you the all-powerful, alien-killing C-Toxin, the landscape was fully destructible in combat and on the game's 'cityscape' too, when commanding your vehicles to destroy anything. You could destroy buildings and shit. The aliens were quite unique too. These weren't from outer space but rather, from another dimension.
The game had, consequentially, two "stages", one where you repelled the full of onslaught alien invasion (alien vessels came to Mega-Primus through strange, indestructible, ethereal, pyramid-shaped portals called "Dimension Gates", which were surrounded by a blue-ish sphere, (which would instantly disintegrate your vehicles if you attempted going through them), the vessels would terrorize and infiltrate the Mega-Primus populace and organizations. While investigating the invasion, you find out how to go through the portals, finding out that the alien dimension is on the other side) and another stage where you counterattacked their invasion, effectively terrorising their populace and killing their species and taking down each of their buildings filled with aliens to the brim. (at that stage you had the best armor and guns and etc. p. much lategame)
It was really fucking fun. I loved it, and IMHO it was kind of underrated, cause I saw some hate for it too.

Yes, the voicework on these is top notch as you can tell. :v:
That kid still hasn't gone missing. He's a trooper that one.
The website updated again, the population counter has been replaced with a count down saying "2 days until the truth is revealed".
Well I guess we'll find out what this new XCOM game will be called on Monday.
The kid was rescued, couldn't touch missing children I guess.

"Message reads: We kicked their asses!"
amazing.
Anyone else think that's a really boring, safe title, or is it just me?
Not sure what you expect when the theme of the game is "Live in the future with this awesome technology we just invented (THAT SECRETLY DESTROYS HUMANITY AND IS AN ANTAGONISTIC FORCE)!", a cliche theme that has been explored dozens of times over.

Fifty pounds says it's XCOM: Enemy Sideways
Or XCOM: Enemies Everywhere!, with the I Will Destroy You! exclusive Day 1 pre-order bonus DLC.
After all, this IS 2K we're talking about, even if it ain't Gearbox.
Fifty pounds says it's XCOM: Enemy Sideways
Since it's Advent, I'd put 50 pounds on XCOM: XMAS
XCOM: Sea Anenemy
XCOM: Fuck you
(to be honest that would be a good description of the RNG).

Could be an amino acid sequence, but I don't think any of them use O as an abbreviation.
[editline]31st May 2015[/editline]
No wait, there is. But it's a recently discovered one.
[editline]31st May 2015[/editline]
GFIIOLID comes out as Gly, Phe, Ile, Ile, Pyl, Leu, Ile, Asp. Still probably doesn't mean anything though.

Actually though, a cryssalid-based survival game could be pretty sweet. I'd take a new XCOM strategy game over it any day of the week, but if somebody made a small survival game with cryssalids, I'd play it.

You as a civilian running through a city, trying to avoid the Crysalids...
