How much GBs (or even TBs [I]shudders[/I]) of data did he have with those .5-1M photos and videos? That seems like a huge amount of hard drives (or a fuckton of DVDs) he would need just to store it all.

Either way, hopefully with the seizure of this collection, police forces around the world will be able to seize even more and put even more pedoes in prison.

Well, if all of his collection were pictures that averaged to be 1mb, that would be roughly a terabyte, not that much. Of course he had videos, so it would probably end up being around a terabyte and a half, guessing that half of that would be videos taking up approximately 30% of his whole collection, the other 70% being pictures. Really, not unheard of to have a 2tb hard drive.

It could, however, be much more, especially if his collection was filled with videos. Lets, for instance, say that 60% of his 1 million were videos averaging at 90 mb (About the size of a 11 minute video). That would mean he had around 51.5 tb of video on its own. Adding in the pictures in this hypothetical scenario, which account for 390.5 gb, that would mean he had almost [B]52 terabytes of child pornography.[/B] He would need twenty-six 2tb hard drives, but most likely had a mix of several different sizes of hard drives.

In all cases, this guy had a shitton of CP.

Given those amounts, I think this article has been greatly exaggerated. Of course that doesn't mean some material couldn't have been on physical mediums, photographs and VHS/DVD.
