Well, what if I never used any Bohemia Interactive products and/or services?
then you get to make stupid posts on facepunch
AES256 is impossible to decrypt-- it would take more energy than that exists in the universe.

so does this explain why my second arma account got banned or is some hacker just real fuckin nifty with his software
I never really understood what the craze was with Arma anyways besides messing around with people and flying with tanks and if I AM somehow effected, I use steamguard anyways, so, suck my dick. Everyone should have this enabled always. Everyone.
Well, what if I never used any Bohemia Interactive products and/or services?
CHANGE ALL YOUR PASSWORDS QUICK [sp]what the hell do you think will happen? lol[/sp]
I use LastPass to generate and contain my passwords. Notebooks can be stolen and open; AES256 encryption is not so easy to crack.
Alternatively, you could just use this kind of notebook: A burglar is far less likely to steal or damage a random notebook lying around the house.

When it comes to protecting stuff from burglars, the best way to hide stuff is to hide it in plain sight. Unless it's like, diamonds and gold bars and shit.

Jesus fucking christ. Who doesn't know my password by now?
I should also mention that I'm extremely paranoid.
It also comes with an optional encryption method called "do it manually."
It also comes with an optional encryption method called "do it manually."
i ain't got time for that rot13 shit. foo'.

Plus you have to take the notebook with you AT ALL TIMES because you might need a password while you're out, which means you could lose the notepad or people could notice what it is (since you're searching for the correct password in there people can notice) and try and take it.

I think if you're at that point, you're better off starting a new life in an Amish community or applying for witness protection because clearly something has gone wrong with your life.

Obviously you won't need a password like that, but its easy.

I'm not saying I'm using 100 of them each day, I'm saying I login to websites 100 times a day. A lot of websites I use I don't stay logged in to, which means I have to enter my password every single time I visit it (for example, college intranet which also doesn't have single sign on so if I check my grades, webmail, course documentation and class roster I'll have logged in a total of 5 times already. Working on projects for a day? Logging in every time I need to find new material on the documentation website). No need to remember passwords or account names, no need to manually enter them when logging in. No chance of forgetting them or them getting stolen.
Ok? Still angry about losing that bet are ya?
I'm saying you don't matter since it works for most other people since hardly anybody actively uses 100+ accounts.
I'm saying you don't matter since it works for most other people since hardly anybody actively uses 100+ accounts.
And I just said I don't either? I said I log in a hundred times a day, but very much on the same website.

[editline]13th July 2013[/editline] I find it easier to just have LastPass fill in my passwords for me automatically than it is to type them in from some notebook.

[editline]13th July 2013[/editline]
all your services don't get compromised unless they somehow know all the services you used, which is unlikely
It's not that hard to just check well known services. They're bound to find something. For example with this hack, if it were me and I actually had the unencrypted passwords I'd try the password and account name on steam, origin, paypal etc.
all your services don't get compromised unless they somehow know all the services you used, which is unlikely
It's not uncommon for thieves to spitball passwords for different accounts once they get one of yours. An old social engineering trick is to get the password from something stupid, like fluffybunnies.com, and then trying the use account details on PayPal. And then it works. The grand majority of computer users don't care enough.
