David Cameron: UK is a Christian country and should be proud; Jews and Muslims are better off in a C

I've lost the quote, but I'm sure there's one where God condones the brutal murder of a person, and strewing his guts all over a mountain.
I never thought I'd say this, but I look forward to Richard Dawkins' response to this.
How dare you wear linen and wool woven together!
I think that line is the product of lobbying in the first century.
Oh Cameron, have you finished digging your grave yet so we can fill it in?
Politics in the UK is a see-saw made out of shit with shit of equal mass on both sides.
Whereas American politics is like a carosel made of shit, it can't help but spread EVERYWHERE, covering all the other, nice fairground rides in shit.
Don't really see how this is such a big deal. Let the man express his own religious views.

that's not what he's doing??
help what do words mean??
Cameron, if you want to help Christianity in this country, get rid of Rowan Williams; there must be some sort of Royal Perogative power you can pull out your arse, I think Henry the Second used it once.

What's wrong with him? What kind of Archbishop would you like to see?
And the coup de grace, Leviticus 20:13.
If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

I know and fully respect that many people in this country do not have a religion.
Well, I'll give him props for that.
That would never be said by American mouth breathers like Limbaugh or Bush.
>2011
>still being a christian country
it's ok you can make up for it in a few days
Putting those sentences in bold really skews the article OP.
It's more about how a general religion in a country leads to less ignorance about other religions than if it was a secular country. ie. Respect other views through your own.
I'm an athiest, but that doesn't mean Christian values aren't important. Not the Bible word for word, but the commandments are a pretty good starting point. I haven't killed anyone.
Yet.
The ten commandments that matter e.g. murder, aren't uniquely Christian values. The idea of "murder is wrong" existed way before the Bible story was written. Of course murder existed before then too, but it still does even after the Bible.
We don't have to teach children Christianity so they can learn that killing and stealing is wrong.
plus the commandments didn't stop anyone from killing anyone anyway so the idea that "murder is wrong" is an idea that's hardly been adopted by anyone.
Cameron, stop speaking for everyone and haul your ass into the 21st Century.
But first and foremost, stop being a cunt.

One who cares about getting people to heaven instead of complaining about the government's social policies. No doubt he'll be against these marriage subsidies as well.
Oh god, its like Rick Perry but he's actually been elected.
I think the moral collapse he speaks of is more common at the top of the economic ladder
Oh god, its like Rick Perry but he's actually been elected.
Rick Perry is in a whole different league.
I really don't see why this is causing so much outrage, he isn't really saying much.
I think the moral collapse he speaks of is more common at the top of the economic ladder
What is he even referring to when he says 'moral collapse'? Homosexuals? Muslim immigrants? What?

The coalition is introducing gay marriage?
I don't understand why Cameron would say this. How does this gain him favour (except maybe from Christians, which aren't exactly a huge majority).
And surely (correct me if I'm wrong), but wouldn't Jews and Muslims in a Christian country mean they have to follow Christian laws, which could be based on the bible and possibly irrelevant to other religions?

Is he really?
