It's incredible, it's awesome, and it's scientifically groundbreaking.
Look at it one more time, guys, we'll never hear or see this thing again.
Things like this never get passed the testing phase.
They said that about computers and about the internet you know...
This stuff isn't as hard as one would think... The only reason it's so difficult is how complicated organs are and how long it takes to make a single object.
We already can make cartilage implants and replacement bladders (albeit at insane prices) due to their simplicity... All it takes is a few more years of research and the necessary infrastructure for producing "Bio-inks".
The only flaw I can think of is the potential for flaws in the organs from bad design, which should be ironed out (or, in it's early stages, It could just be replaced again.)
"Honey! My doc says my liver doesn't look too great... go pick up another one at the store and run it over here!"
In 20 years time, we'll be able to print breasts.
goodbye fake breasts
Bio Printer just makes me think of a regular colour printer.
ERROR: OUT OF ORGANS, PLEASE INSERT ORGANS AND PRESS OK TO RESUME PRINT
Why would you need organs to print organs?
So, if we can print organs, wouldn't that mean we could print better organs? Like print a better heart?
I can't think of a decent pun involving organ printers.
So if I want a new liver do I click Bile>Print?
this just sounds like all kinds of disgusting and scientifically wrong
and pretty flippin sweet at the same time
It should be compulsory to give up your organs for donation, the selfish bastards (Unless they have some kind of disease).
"compulsory"? not everyone's just hoping someone with the same blood type will need a heart or lung transplant because they hate themselves so much.
So like, I was printing out my latest porno when my mom walked in and asked, 'Great, you used up all the fucking type B blood, Cunt.'
I shalt print myself a longer dick!
I need a tighter vagina
'What if I scan my ass?'
Cool inventions etc.
Where's the source
Who knows how old we will be, todays people usually go 80 or over, imagine in 60 years.
Notice how they're not an american company.
lol.
Why would you need organs to print organs?
Why do you need paper to print on paper
So many asses will be printed out.
why do you know that?
Because the picture I quoted showed the inside of that fleshlight. It actually looks closer to a couple other things but I decided to go with snake skin.

Organ Load Letter? What the FUCK does that even MEAN?!
Five to ten years for a device that can create organs? That sounds pretty reasonable to me.
Because I'm led to believe that in 10 years we will already have better technology that would make this ether outdated, or something that makes it so needing new organs isn't needed anymore.
Forgive me, I'm being optimistic about this instead of my usual self. I'm simply under the impression that in 10 years we will think of actually needing new organs a stupid concept due to some other invention, or at least the way this one creates them will be deemed pointless in light of better technology.
My optimistic mood scares me too.
What stops me from making An entirely new human?

Societies morals.
I hope it doesn't give random unhelpful errors when something is wrong.
goodbye fake breasts
At least when people want bigger boobs they'll actually look natural, because technically, they will be.
[editline]03:36PM[/editline]
Oh, and just because we'll be able to grow new organs, doesn't mean that there won't be any complications during the transplant surgery, this isn't a guaranteed way of keeping us alive.
It was only a matter of time until this happened.
I'm fucking glad someone is finally attempting it.
Warning: Low on Genetic material, please refill the bloody organ grinder of hatredRAGAFLARGHAARR. Thank you, Have a nice day.
