That's the point. Export industries will just be put into different countries who will effectively manufacture the same exact weapon and ammo, and these will be exported to the United States. For example: [t]http://www.typo.org/~web/guns/images/wasr10-63.jpg[/t] This is the WASR-10 [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/80/AKM_automatkarbin%2C_Ryssland_-_7%2C62x39mm_-_Armémuseum.jpg/300px-AKM_automatkarbin%2C_Ryssland_-_7%2C62x39mm_-_Armémuseum.jpg[/t] This is the AKM Effectively a few differences in cosmetic appearance and manufacture, but pretty much the same rifle.
Well okay but this doesn't benefit Russia
Russia will just put on a fuck-all grin and get it's arms industries to transfer the export industries to Belarus or Romania
The way you worded it makes it look like Russia has subsidiaries of it's arms industry in here. It doesn't, it's Romania industry. Russia would still be affected by the sanctions.
If not buying a particular brand of slavshit is causing you deep pain, you're not an "American gun owner", you're a fetishist. Buy a Romanian one if you're going to cry without that new AK smell.
For AKs that's true, but not a lot of other countries making VEPR-12s or Saiga-12s, and not a lot of strong contenders against the VEPR
You know that Russia is a representative democracy, right? Their voting system is quite similar to the one in the US.
Well technically yes but when your vote is putin or putin it doesnt make much difference.
snip
dont politicise our guns man
I had two saiga rifles that I put up on gun broker for the shop i work at go for $600+ each. I bought them from a guy for about 270 a piece and I was asking 350. I was getting phone calls all day asking if we had any. Before that no one wanted them, or anything saiga except the Saiga 12. Those two rifles sat on gun broker for months, and as soon as word hit people were bidding on them like clock work.
