New episodes suck, but I still watch them. 90s Episodes are the best.
I think it's mainly because the simpsons' humor can't really fit modern times. In the 90s they had much more pop culture references to make, even the setting of the family itself was more laughable. In my opinion the series is now kinda like an old man trying to be cool by doing young stuff but just ends up being ridiculous and not getting the point at all.
While The Simpsons stopped being funny ages ago, the episode where they killed Fat Tony and cheaply replaced him just killed it forever.
Wh-What? Fat Tony NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I think Adult Swim should be a channel. I never understood why it was part of Cartoon Network anyway?
I actually don't know any adults who watch Adult Swim They're all around 18 like me who started watching it when they were 12 or something
Adult Swim?
That's not even a damn channel.
Family guy is funny as fuck and entertaining as hell. Maybe it's because you're british, you don't have the same sense of humor as a good ol' fashioned American.
I'm finnish and I find British humor way more entertaining than American. American humor feels a bit dumb and not funny for me. Don't get me wrong, there are good american shows as well. Please don't get offended by this.
If there had been a Simpsons movie in the late 90s and they ended the series there, it would be remembered as one of the greatest shows of all time and the movie would have been incredible
Family guy is funny as fuck and entertaining as hell. Maybe it's because you're british, you don't have the same sense of humor as a good ol' fashioned American.
Good ol' fashioned American humour consists of fart jokes and absurd randomness, neither of which are funny to anyone over eight years old
Simpsons, Futurama, Family Guy, American Dad "The Best Shows Channel"
Replace american dad with king of the hill and it might be able to make up for family guy being on there.
The Simpsons stopped being funny 6 seasons ago
The Simpsons stopped being funny 6 seasons ago
It stopped being funny when they stopped making the episodes that regularly have scenes taken out, captioned and posted on the internet.
[sp]hold on, fat tony was killed?[/sp] spoiler that shit, the episode prolly hasn't even hit Ireland yet!!!
The new episodes are shit now. They've ruined it, just like family guy.
Wow. The simpsons really doesn't need it's own TV channel; It's fine as it is right now. I like the episodes but not as good as the older ones
If there had been a Simpsons movie in the late 90s and they ended the series there, it would be remembered as one of the greatest shows of all time and the movie would have been incredible
The movie was awesome.
The new episodes are shit now. They've ruined it, just like family guy.
And Futurama.

Some people have a different idea of humor, especially if you're from a different country. Your humor is farting on someone's face and running off going NYAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Our humor is slowly and cunningly convincing the person to allow us to flatulate all over their face before stabbing them in the back and taking their wallet. Like Gork and Mork. One is cunningly brutal, The other is brutally cunning.
This shows you don't understand American Humor. It isn't that fart jokes on their own are funny, it's the fact they are so immature, and absurd, that makes them funny when showed on a show meant for adults. Also the humor isn't centered around farts. It's about absurdity, which is what all humor is about when you get down to it. The funniest scenes aren't the fart jokes: They play on social stereotypes, pop culture, and pure free absurd humor. The show is actually a lot more intelligently written then you might think.
The show is actually a lot more intelligently written then you might think.
Nope you are invalid I hate Family Guy it sucks for vague, unexplained reasons. BANDWAGON BANDWAGON BANDWAGON
You've got to be kidding meeee i can't believe this show is still going. It's almost as old as me.
It will always be as old as you.

How do i know? I watched it every night for a very long time. Because it was all BBC3 shows, And it wasn't "Absurd" humor, It was shit humor, it was basically "HEY, REMEMBER THE EIGHTIES/NINTIES/RANDOMFILM? YEAH! LOL!"
Nope you are invalid I hate Family Guy it sucks for vague, unexplained reasons. BANDWAGON BANDWAGON BANDWAGON
DURR HURR I DONT LIEK A SHOW ITS BANDWAGONING Get out of here, I dislike family guy because it's wrecking humor as a whole, and any new surrealist humor(AKA the shit monty python was doing in the seventies and got old not long after when every. single. troupe. copied. it.) is ran out of town because it "Copies family guy." It's no more funny than Barry Shitpeas' "Sick On A Widow" now in its fifth season on BBC Choice.
I wonder how much creating a channel just for a show would cost. They should really spend it on some new writers, at least try and make the show funny again.
...
"Shows that refuse to die" list The Simpsons Spongebob Any more shows like this for the list?
PLEASE DO IT OH GOD PLEASE
To be honest, I've always thought the current episodes aren't as bad as people make out. They've got nothing on the classics, but they're still watchable. I'd watch the channel if it existed, it'd be good to have for when nothing else is on.
As a longtime Simpsons fan since I was a very small child I will admit the quality is not up to par with what it once was. It went from funny and only got better then seemed to slow down and drop after the movie. Still family guy will never be funny. Sorry but it just not. The randomness and fart jokes just are not funny to anyone with any bit of sophistication at all. The Simpsons can be saved. Family guy would have to redo their entire show. Also I have no beef with Futurama.

Please, we both know there are better examples of american comedy. I for one, love 30 Rock.
