House Democrats look at taxing the rich for health care - Polidicks

Capitalism is actually very different from this. While this is balancing the economy between the rich and poor with little effort from the people, capitalism exists to facilitate the boundary between different incomes. For example, I'm rich, therefore I get a good education, therefore I'm seen as a more capable person, therefore I make more money than the poor people without a good education. Not to mention, capitalism usually entails more effort than paying less money than the man down the block in the mansion.

GM suffered massive losses because of employee healthcare, losses that could have been avoided with a single payer system.
