The implication is strong.

Conceding ignorance doesn't help your cause much.
A weakness on your part.
Except you just conceded ignorance on the topic, and can't actually prove any of the contents of said links is wrong. So it isn't really "sophomoric" unless we know the links were bullshit, and...we don't, because you surrendered.
I conceded ignorance on a topic I did not get involved in. I don't pretend to know everything based on limited knowledge and parochial views like the proverbial FPer.
No, it's sophomoric because he saw an article, and then just rephrases it, under the guise of an argument.

Argument against the point beats argument against the source.
Care to be specific about what you found flaw in my statement?
hahahahahabhahahHAHAHAHAHAA
seriously hahahaha what the fuck is this
coca cola de beers nike
seriously
No matter what, you will exploit someone, are you recommending people stop getting rich because it would hurt someone?
cool, i said absolutely nothing about that
there's a gigantic difference between exploiting workers by not providing benefits, and the whole-sale sweat-shop labour that exists in many large companies. one of these is not someone that should be accepted by people

it's seriously almost cartoonishly evil

look if you can't deal with the argument just say so
now you are just arguing for the sake of it; if you can't bring any relevant sources to support your claim (whatever that might be I'm not sure what your argument is since you keep whining about how this debate is framed) then just give it up
So if i make money it should be taken away from me and given to someone who doesn't. Because i'm successful and they're not i should lose money.
NO it's fucking stupid. My money shouldn't be taken away and given to someone who didn't earn it or doesn't work hard enough for it. If you believe people get rich because they exploit others you are WRONG. Very few large business exploit people, and they always suffer for it in the end.
Lets say i make 3 million a year, i already lose 1 million of that to regular taxes. Now i have to lose another million of that to pay for people who don't make money or people who don't want to work. If i earn money why should i lose it to someone who doesn't and didn't earn it.
I live in the UK...so i pay three pieces of tax. The first is national insurance, the second is income tax, and the third is council tax. Council tax depends where someone lives, generally nicer or more central areas will be more expensive. National Insurance and Income Tax are deducted from my payslip. I get paid about 900 a month after tax...the tax is generally a couple of hundred a month.
Now that money goes to the country for everything. Some will go to the NHS, public schools, transportation and parks. Essentially everything that is run by the government is paid for by the tax. Through me working, i pay for the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. It works though. At the moment poor people in America don't get the same healthcare that rich people get. Does that mean they are any less important? Yet i know that if i walk into a hospital, i will get service without having my insurance run through first.

No, see, therein lies the problem. This is what you keep doing. You reach a point at which you have no legitimate response and then you pull this shit in a facade of intellectual superiority, ignoring the aforementioned point to which you have no rebuttal.
You're bullshitting yourself
don't do this
I AINT TALKIN at you
By the way, if this there is national health care it doesn't eliminate private health care.
It might be shitty health care for those that won't be able to afford private, but at least it's there, taxes should cover it. People who can pay for private still get good treatment.

now you are arguing about the way you two argue! whats the point!!! noone cares!!!
then who would pay for police/fire departments, schools, highways, roads, bridges, the military, libraries, parks, sewers, etc
Rhetorical questions aren't answers
Actually this exemplifies your ignorance on the history and current ownership of highways, roads, waterworks, power plants etc..
Correct me if I'm wrong but, but the first highway was built by a private company in England.
now you are arguing about the way you two argue! whats the point!!! noone cares!!!
I SAID I aint talkin AT YOU
The U.S. is becoming the type of country that doesn't have a middle class, only low and high. I used to be middle class, now my parents are struggling like almost every other middle class american family. I'd consider myself lower-middle class now.
By the way, if this there is national health care it doesn't eliminate private health care.

Oh boy! I get to pay an extra $500+ dollars on my taxes for something that is barely better then a free health clinic!
I don't think a transcript between Wagoner and a congresswoman from a hearing is bullshit information
I'm skimming. It's easier for me to just point out the term as wrong in context because of a failure on his part than to go digging through your links to prove as much.
The implication is strong.
I think the proper reply to what I asked is no. I could give a flying fuck about what you suspect him to believe, and it isn't relevant.
A weakness on your part.
...
I conceded ignorance on a topic I did not get involved in. I don't pretend to know everything based on limited knowledge and parochial views like the proverbial FPer.
Wow. I'm guessing "parochial" was the word of the day at your high school, because your use of it is forced. You already said "limited." You don't need to hamfist another word in there.
No, it's sophomoric because he saw an article, and then just rephrases it, under the guise of an argument.
So you don't know what "sophomoric" means.
Care to be specific about what you found flaw in my statement?
It's a logical fallacy. You said "GM has filed for bankruptcy protection", ergo "one with common sense would not take their advice."
I'm telling you that the "advice" in question needs to be judged objectively, not by it's source.
By the way, if this there is nation health care it doesn't eliminate private health care.
It might be shitty health care for those that won't be able to afford private, but at least it's there. People who can pay for private still get good treatment.
doesn't this just remove good doctors from the national service though
Just adopt universal health care already, geez. You know you eventually will.
And I support this.
To all you people saying "Oh no the rich earned their money!!!"
Well, oh shit, now they'll only make 9 million dollars a year instead of 10 million! Oh shit now they only have 9 million dollars those poor ppl1!!!
The U.S. is becoming the type of country that doesn't have a middle class, only low and high. I used to be middle class, now my parents are struggling like almost every other middle class american family. I'd consider myself lower-middle class now.
In the end, though, the upper-class is going to find a way out of this, and the tax is going to fall on the middle class, like it always has in situations like this.

What do you class as highway?
We have Motorways, A roads and B roads.

Who the fuck are you, they're taxing the rich buddy
look if you can't deal with the argument just say so
now you are just arguing for the sake of it;
Somebody responds to me or makes a claim, and I respond back. Why you make this an issue isn't a mystery.
if you can't bring any relevant sources to support your claim (whatever that might be I'm not sure what your argument is since you keep whining about how this debate is framed) then just give it up
Which claims are you referring to. Could you specify, or are you just too in love with yourself?
No, see, therein lies the problem. This is what you keep doing. You reach a point at which you have no legitimate response and then you pull this shit in a facade of intellectual superiority, ignoring the aforementioned point to which you have no rebuttal.

lankist, you don't have a point. my point is that you need some god damn social contact because you can't understand the value of a human life. your opinions literally depress me and me making fun of you and your previous lauding of "winning an argument" is great fun. not to mention it takes my mind off the fact you're not the 12 year old republican or 18 year old isolated college libertarian i hoped you were
Who the fuck are you, they're taxing the rich buddy
These taxes never make it to the rich, it always seems to fall on the middle class, happened with my parents in the past, will happen here.
Oh boy! I get to pay an extra $500+ dollars on my taxes for something that is barely better then a free health clinic!
Really? You seen what the NHS offers?
doesn't this just remove good doctors from the national service though
Yes, the private healthcare will always be better, but the national service will still save some lives

you realize that the first highway in the US (the Cumberland Road) was built by the federal government, so what's your point. this is splitting at hairs though because this is a buttfucking stupid thing to bring up when the original argument was "I don't like to pay taxes when they just go to people who don't deserve them" when in reality taxes go towards public goods that benefit everyone
I never knew police departments, fire departments, schools, parks, sewer systems, libraries, the military, etc were all private businesses! wow!
