But that is its purpose. The military falls under the same set of guide lines as a police office. They are all part of the executive branch of government, which is to enforce the law. It doesnt matter if its the military, the CIA, or the 4chan party machine rolling up your driveway.
Even though the the Military may technically have jurisdiction over citizens, they don't really use it. Just like the 4chan party van is for partying, but instead they offer male blowjobs.
Don't the American rich get taxed enough?
He makes all the libertarians proud.
You'd make someone proud if you took a course on basic economics.
I think we are on the topic of universal healthcare, which has nothing to do with businesses, as unviersal healthcare is run free of businesses. It's like saying the US army is stealing business from Blackwater.
Quite contrary my fine sir, businesses are the ones who SHOULD provide health care. The businesses find a provider that they see fit, and contract them to their workers. If universal health care were to kick in, then many people wouldn't pay that extra $10 a month for their DECENT health care. Combine this with the tight regulation of businesses, and all you do is put extra stress on businesses, which then makes them pull in the health care that they contract to their employees to save money. Simply, everything should be left up to an individual, not to the government.
You're an armchair X, but that's pretty much as far as you've gone. If your plan is to have corporations regulated (which I do not think would be able exist in a free market) then you're going to have to learn the basics, such as the purpose and elements of a fucking corporate charter. Now what regulations do you propose? Price control, am I right?
Price control is a great idea except how the government itself can raise prices so they earn more tax revenue.
Don't the American rich get taxed enough?
I guess not, as there is still a relatively overwhelming amount of poor people in America.
It has everything to do with business. it has to do with the businesses that Universal health care will destory.
whoopedy-doo. Meddling with business affairs is different from destroying it through better service.
Even though the the Military may technically have jurisdiction over citizens, they don't really use it. Just like the 4chan party van is for partying, but instead they offer male blowjobs.
FYI, the U.S. military does NOT have jurisdiction over U.S. citizens. [editline]10:45PM[/editline]
I guess not, as there is still a relatively overwhelming amount of poor people in America.
Protip: You don't fix poverty by making everybody poorer.
Even though the the Military may technically have jurisdiction over citizens, they don't really use it. Just like the 4chan party van is for partying, but instead they offer male blowjobs.
They don't really use it, but they have the right to use it.
They don't really use it, but they have the right to use it.
No they do not.
I guess not, as there is still a relatively overwhelming amount of poor people in America.
And why are these people poor?
Don't the American rich get taxed enough?
Yes, America uses a progressive tax, which pretty much means your being taxed for being successful, and rewarded for being unsuccessful. The same mind set congress had with the bailouts.
We have checks and balances. Such as 150 years in federal prison. You can pretend government is trustworthy but it isn't any more trustworthy than business. If government can veto business, to have a balanced system business would have to be able to veto government. [editline]10:40PM[/editline] Uhh, by enforcing existing laws. You act like the president has to be in the boardroom spanking CEO's who have unethical but not illegal practices.
Really, and every CEO that has fucked around the last 8 years is serving 150 years in prison? Right? Well, you said it, so it MUST be true amirite You can say he did until your blue in the face but unless you PROVE it, it's not holding water Lankist, I jsut wanted to let you know You suck at debating. You REALLY do.
Simply, everything should be left up to an individual, not to the government.
A business is not an individual. When you rely on businesses, nothing gets left up to the individual. The difference is, the Government is a safer, less unscrupulous bet to rely your health on. Guess it depends on weather or not you like gambling on your life for the possibility of better service.
No they do not.
You should look at your constitution sir. Its helpful to know so you know what your talking about.
And why are these people poor?
According to libertarians and conservatives, they NEVER work and are lazy and stupid. obviously
And why are these people poor?
Exactly.
You should look at your constitution sir. Its helpful to know so you know what your talking about.
You're a conservative, I thought the constitution was your floor mat.
A business is not an individual. When you rely on businesses, nothing gets left up to the individual.
Technically a corporation is a single person...legally that is.
According to libertarians and conservatives, they NEVER work and are lazy and stupid. obviously
Alot of them are lazy and stupid, this is coming from my own personal experiance of being a fellow working class guy.
Technically a corporation is a single person...legally that is.
So, you should bet your health with somebody with a huge amount of power, who's out to make a profit?
You're a conservative, I thought the constitution was your floor mat.
No Article 2 is in a picture frame, and the first 10 amendments are the floor mat. :P JK i like it all except that part with freeing slaves or whatever... JK i like it just not the women's rights part ....
You should look at your constitution sir. Its helpful to know so you know what your talking about.
How about you find the part enabling the US military to act as a domestic enforcement agency.
I would just like to say as well, anyone who is not an American citizen, please gtfo hoars, you have no right to stick your nose into this. Stop interfering with other countries and then calling us the "nosey imperialists."

Do you bitch and moan about the police, fire department, libraries, and other socialized programs? Health is a little more important then money.
Alot of them are lazy and stupid, this is coming from my own personal experiance of being a fellow working class guy.
Alot are just welfare bums, others just give up, and the rest want to start on top rather than work their way there.
Protip: You don't fix poverty by making everybody poorer.
Protip: GJ not understanding it.
I would just like to say as well, anyone who is not an American citizen, please gtfo hoars, you have no right to stick your nose into this. Stop interfering with other countries and then calling us the "nosey imperialists."
Lol.
Alot of them are lazy and stupid, this is coming from my own personal experiance of being a fellow working class guy.
As is rich people. My point is, don't bring out that bullshit argument.
Alot are just welfare bums, others just give up, and the rest want to start on top rather than work their way there.
And a lot of other people choose a profession they like doing. I want to be a Luthier, even though I can only make so much money doing that. That's no reason to get fucked over time and time again because you don't want to be a corporate dickwad for the rest of your life.
