Name one successful socialist state that exists today. One.
Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway...
no there wasn't
maybe some laws were created that applied directly to online corporate activity, but the market as a whole did not receive more regulation
Yes there was. Quite a lot.

Oh so businesses are state-governed there? News to me.

like what?
if I recall correctly, supporting trade with other countries isn't a position unique to libertarians.
and I'm not so sure that you should point out china as such a great success seeing as how American companies are constantly shipping American jobs over to China where labor laws are less strict and they are allowed to pay children 3 cents an hour to make 16 dollar bratz dolls
I don't think that's working out well for the united states, or the chinese
my point was that free trade strengthens relationships with nations
it sounds pretty sad but basically money is preventing us from shooting the shit out of each other, that's why there's not as much large conflicts between nations, it's because our economies have begun to rely on each other.
that's really just the base of my libertarian beliefs, as you can see, i'm just interested in better life quality for people and less stupid fighting between nations
that's why i'm still kind of pondering socialized health care
like what?
Fines in the millions for deceptive companies.

Those aren't socialist.
Come on, don't go the old O'Reilly road there. You might as well call England and France socialist too.

i too can understand the conundrum
i mean, if poor people die from preventable diseases, that lowers the population, right? therefore it's good for everyone

Things exist in degrees you know. Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, and Norway are most definitely more socialist than the United States, and they are definitely doing better than the United States, if you count better schools, a healthier population, less polluted air, safer streets, and lower poverty as signs of doing well as a country.
There's no perfect socialism just as there isn't perfect capitalism.
In my opinion, the countries with the best quality of life has always been countries that have balanced the two

When you can't buy shit from somebody, you take shit from somebody.
I'd much rather encourage buying shit than taking shit.

but they are still capitalist, they are certainly not one hundred percent socialist

Oh, that's funny, because when you talk about Libertarianism you treat it like it's Anarcho-capitalism
