Well they already use crematory for heating a church in finland. They burn almost 1500 bodies every year, thats probably around 100 tonns of bodies. So why waste it?

From a utalitarian point of view, it's more moral and ethical to get the best good out of a body. What's wrong with using the spare heat from burning a body of someone who [b]chose[/b] to be cremated and turned into power. This way, you avoid the space issues, get electricity, and dispose of someone who chose to be cremated, thus the greatest good for the greatest number, therefore ethically correct.
From an autonamous point of view, it's ethical as long as you chose to get cremated, and would only be unethical if you couldn't choose.
How is it morally wrong if you willingly choose to be cremated and let them use the excess heat to turn water into steam, which is then used to turn a turbine?

Sorry I should have read more carefully, I thought they were actually using the bodies not using the excess heat generated from them being cremated.

Anywho, I'm glad they're doing this. I think it's sensible.
I always saw a market in making death a resource, but I felt like nobody would agree with it because of the ethics of a corpse. I'd rather bodies be put to use rather than waste thousands of square miles of land to sit and fade away.
