I'm against death penalty. Though, im against brazil's current crime policy. The maximum jail time someone gets over here is 30 years. Though the real max is 10 ( good behaviour = 1/3 jail time). There is also that holiday-free-day bogus. Every christmas day, like, a thousand prisoners escape jail. I also don't like how the prisoners don't do anything useful, like work . For me, i'd be fine with murderers getting life time jail working at a coal/copper mine, at least our taxes money would be well spent. Our gun legislation is also shit. We need collector's licenses to have simulacros/ pressure carbines, with prison time of up to 6 years, the same as illegal firearm carrying.
