internet atheists yeah
Why is this news? Why should this be any more news than a billboard for a church?
Cobb County is a boring place for news it seems.
Ir pretty much boils down to this.

99% of the people who disagreed are Christian. 1% mis-clicked
Incoming bandwagon of angsty religious teens hating on Atheism.
I'm sorry but that almost never happens on facepunch.
Atheism: "Atheism is commonly defined as the position that there are no deities. It can also mean the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. A broader definition is simply the absence of belief that any deities exist."
Religion: "an institution to express belief in a divine power; 'he was raised in the Baptist religion'; 'a member of his own faith contradicted him'"
Atheism lacks any form of theological beliefs, therefore, it is not a religion. It's more of a philosophy.
It's not a philosophy, Atheism is a position/answer to a claim.
I drive by a street every week or so, and on that street, is a billboard saying "Evolutionists are going to hell" or something to that extent. It's been there for over a year now. This sign won't last a month. Sad, sad world we live in.
I think it should be like this:
1) Religious people practice their religion freely, without making any efforts to discriminate or violate another person's rights. Only speaking out if their rights are trampled on.
2) Atheists just don't believe in religion and let the religious go about their business, unhindered. Only speaking out if any rights are being violated or discrimination is being spread.
Indeed i think so too but it'll never happen.
