I had H-Pylori for four years, and have an ulcer now as a complication and I can confirm that food isn't appealing at all when your not hungry.
I don't eat breakfast, generally don't have lunch, and most times by 7pm I'm still not hungry. When I finally can eat some food its difficult to eat and a lot of the time doesn't taste great because your not hungry.
Hopefully they can help this kid out because its honestly maddening when you cant eat

Im just referring to the hunger part here. I've had plenty of times of not knowing i was hungry and passing out.
