I can think of at least one way to watch 4K content on a device that doesn't support HDCP 2.2
It also happens to involve not paying for the content.

I brought a 4k monitor this year, If i cant watch 4K via disk It will be a shame but I refuse to buy a second monitor when I could effecitly buy an army of films with said money to replace it
I see 4k anything screwing you over at this point. Like if you buy a 4k monitor and want to stream netflix or something, you're gonna wreck your data cap for the month after binge watching breaking bad over the weekend or some shit.
4k is becoming the devil in many ways it seems to me.

4k is good for large screens or monitors which you sit close to. Remember that Hd took a while too. The problem with 4k is that our internet isn't good enough yet (thanks ISPs) and that there is still little content
