IMO humanity needs to go through massive genetic engineering and memetic conditioning programs in order to survive.

Yeah but doing that in the first place requries some kind of judge to decide what kind of people need treatment, and what kinds of things make one need treatment, also who administers treatment, and all kinds of shit. There's also the moral dilemma of doing it at all! Basically there's nothing we can do except be glad we're in the generation that doesn't end it all. For a 15 year old I think about this kind of shit too often.
