Holy god-damn-motherfucking shit. That's fucking awesome.
Hey! I'm not dead! :buddy:
What do they have to do exactly in order to "find" the Higgs boson?
I actually expected the test to create a new substance, but we'll find out later lol.
This ain't no movie...
Whoa.
Thanks to the large hardon collider we can now prove the big bang. Theirs no need for religion anymore. Therefore nothing to debate.
No [editline]10th November 2010[/editline]
What do they have to do exactly in order to "find" the Higgs boson?
Smash particles apart into smaller particles. If anybody knows, is the higgs boson supposed to be the size of a quark?
What do they have to do exactly in order to "find" the Higgs boson?
Reaching the necessary energy in a particle-particle collision to create it (between 115 and 185 GeV) and then detecting it. If anybody knows, is the higgs boson supposed to be the size of a quark?
They are not smashing particles to get "smaller one", they do it in order to release a bunch of energy which then can be used to create other particles such as the Higgs Boson. The size of it is yet unknown.
