because nobody knows what the fuck it is to be british
Being drunk and noisy in a kebab shop at 1 in the morning, while others throw up onto the curb outside? Because thats the only thing I can think of.
historically the UK is a Christian country
And before that, Pagan I'd rather be the latter tbh
bullshit, all bullshit. fucking, the best part of britain is the fact 99% of people do not give a toss about this sort of bollocks. it's understanding that basically everything that's a part of our 'culture' is stolen from other countries, and that's what makes it great, it means nobody is running around decrying people as being 'unbritish', because nobody knows what the fuck it is to be british as long as you can complain about the weather being shite, queue in a long as shit queue and complain about it, and read the paper and complain about the shit in it, you're as british as me.
True, not giving a single toss is a very British thing, you cant offend us Though you could say the same about pretty much any other country, like if you went up to a French guy and asked him what it meant to French he'd be like "pfff i dunno" Not saying we should know everything in depth, but personally I believe everyone in this country who say we have no "culture" should at least know we were the foremost innovators in performance arts, fashion, music, parliamentary democracy, industrialization and numerous sciences which have all heavily influenced the world over (and that's just England alone)
To be honest, I believe immigration in the UK is a problem. Too much segregation is causing pretty big divides in certain parts of the country. I welcome anything which slows down immigration, as this would allow more time for integration to take place.
And before that, Pagan I'd rather be the latter tbh
And before even that, one can only assume that there was no religion at all.
Well if we're going to be pedantic the UK is historically a Christian country, not a pagan one. because in pagan britain the country 'UK' did not exist.
Name this aeroplane.
SPFHist.jpg Just kidding, it's a Spitfire and it's the most beautiful fighter ever created. Just look at that. [t]http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02177/Spitfire_RAF_Manst_2177424b.jpg[/t] I am immensely proud of the brave pilots that flew them.

So it's more important to know how to live in Britain of the past than modern Britain... Why am I even surprised? It's in the very name of the political party we 'elected' to make this decision, "Conservative". Blindly denying progress for no reason that has ever been adequately explained. Grow up, Theresa May, and have a look at the country you've been asked to govern. This is not what anybody wants.
I took the Citizenship test. I never encountered any human rights stuff, usually just important everyday stuff like "What is the minimum age to buy this?" or "Which people are prioritised on council housing?" (I'm paraphrasing btw). Or maybe, I got lucky on the randomly-selected questions.
Heck, I'm confused on the UK vs Britain vs England. Isn't it like immigrating to US and calling it the North American immigration test?
