Tea Party decides Facebook is too 'liberal', makes it's own ripoff.
Now all they need is their own country!
Mostly so they can leave the rest of us the fuck alone :v:
Six weeks in, they'd all try to attack California or New York or China, and then they'd just be decimated.
Don't forget Liberalpedia. Being closed to debate isn't immune to only one side of the argument.
Don't get me wrong, I think both extremes are stupid, and in fact the elements of the left extreme annoy me far more than the right extreme (which are mostly just funny to me). But the conservative extreme is much much much more prevalent in American Politics, while the liberal extreme is almost unheard of outside of parts of the internet.
What's the tea party's equivalent of liking? Not despising?
damn gonna sign up for this and see how fast I can get banned crossposting from vkontakte
It'll probably become a special interest circle jerk spinoff site like 4chan > Ponychan
Someone go to an MRA forum and start posting stuff from it to this. You'll be their favorite person within a week.
I like to keep politics away from facebook. It tends to heavily annoy people.
I predict that 5 minutes after it goes up it will be filled with everyone but the tea party.
Why did they have to rip off the Facebook UI, it blows enough ass already.
They probably fucked the timeline up the ass even more

I'd agree with that. I like the tea party and I wouldn't even sign up for this lol
using this website could be like playing where's waldo
[editline]2nd February 2013[/editline]
but instead of waldo it's minorities
aaand the server is down
This is so entertaining! It looks like they literally just saved the whole site and rehosted it. For the terms of use page they just did find+replace for "facebook."

Including the copyright at the bottom! I imagine that Facebook has already contacted them and eaten their face and that's why it's down.
Hopefully this will at least help cut down on the idiot trolls who shit up Facebook to troll people like this.

been registered since 2009
not certain it's a "new" social networking site
Has anyone here actually signed up on it yet?
So basically its a political echo-chamber? We already have plenty of those... Daily Kos, Democratic Underground, r/politics, Breitbart, etc etc

Germany, I guess Europe is too liberal for their liking.
Germany, I guess Europe is too liberal for their liking.
Hah, ohh wow. That is just priceless. Freedom #1 guys.

Pretty much like FB except you can customize your profile a bit more than it / do other things [and the obvious conservative bias]
I still don't get this point of view, "facebook is full of idiots" "facebook is full of liberals" etc.
Facebook is a completely general social networking service. It doesn't have a central community as such; the community you see is the set of people who are your friends, your friends of friends, people in your groups etc.
So if there's someone you don't like you can block them or whatever.
Fundamentalists, extremists and far-left/righters love their echo chambers.
