"As you know we can strike at any time and place of your choosing if you continue to endanger our people." "Name a place fool i'll meet you any time bitch"
Gaddafi is going to be insanely paranoid for the rest of his life.
All six months of it.
The rebels are the civilians. Nobody likes Gaddafi.
Once you pick up a weapon and go to war you aren't a civilian. Even in civil defense, i.e. an encounter between law enforcement and a hostile suspect, you really aren't a civilian. "Civilian" implies innocence, which you pretty much lose by joining an armed rebellion. Whether their cause is good or not is irrelevant to the people shooting at you, and I can't expect them not to do something once you've become an enemy combatant. I'd like you to back up your claim that nobody appreciates Gaddafi and anything he's done. Why aren't more people in the movement if he's such a horrible despot, especially with air support from NATO? The uprising was doing well before, yet people weren't flocking to it then either. Can you explain this?
NATO has never done anything like this to any other dictator. Why just Gaddafi?

[editline]25th June 2011[/editline]
NATO has never done anything like this to any other dictator. Why just Gaddafi?
No, they have. Its just been a few years. Libya is also the only one to really see open rebellion like this, and there is clearly a good side and a bad side. A lot of regions throughout Africa and other parts of the world either have no form of civilian uprising or the combatants are about as bad as each other.
A huge army with a bunch of isolated incidents that cannot be proven to source back to Gaddafi's orders (except of course those mysterious unnamed people NATO and their proponents keep bringing up)? Ordering bombings for no apparent reason? You can't really seriously believe he's actually insane enough to be solely responsible for all of that and yet hasn't been assassinated by his own people already. If you tell me the UN, NATO, or the ICC are reliable sources (being the ones on the offense and the few parties with something at stake) then I'm going to laugh and skip your reply. Let's hear from someone reliable who isn't directly involved somehow. What I'm getting at is that NATO ironically fills the same descriptions of what they're telling him not to do: intentionally or not, they're a military structure and are endangering civilians by even being there dropping bombs out of the sky. It's already killed a few people, at least that we know of.
He declared war on Italy and claims Al Qaeda is the one pulling the strings on the revolution.
What I'm getting at is that NATO ironically fills the same descriptions of what they're telling him not to do: intentionally or not, they're a military structure and are endangering civilians by even being there dropping bombs out of the sky. How the Hell does NATO give off a worse impression than Gaddafi forces after accidentally bombing civilians. NATO has been doing whatever they can to minimize the amount of civilian casualties. If NATO took no regard towards any civilians they would turned the Gaddafi compound into a parking lot. Not to mention that early in the onset of the war, there a number of faux funerals pro-Gaddafi supporters set up. Even Anderson Cooper had them covered.
A huge army with a bunch of isolated incidents that cannot be proven to source back to Gaddafi's orders (except of course those mysterious unnamed people NATO and their proponents keep bringing up)?
http://www.speroforum.com/a/49907/Libya-UN-alarmed-at-reports-of-violence-against-subSaharan-migrants http://edition.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/africa/05/23/libya.rape.survey.psychologist/ A lot of media journalists are doing whatever they can to get refugees and people to speak up. I don't get where NATO is doing what the Media is supposed to do.
The audio recording remind me of those Anonymous messages.
When I read the article in my head I gave the guy a badass voice, now I'm listening to the recording and he sounds semi-retarded.
So what NATO is effectively saying is to disband his own military, because it's a threat to the civilian populace just for existing? :irony:
no i think NATO is saying that he should stop using his military to harm the libyan citizens :downs:
So is NATO the international police force or something?
I like how Jenkem is defending a guy with a historical record of human rights abuses. Fun guy at parties I bet.
He's the guy that refuses to believe that there is blood underneath his skin unless he actually sees it in the open.
So is NATO the international police force or something?
yes [editline]25th June 2011[/editline]
A huge army with a bunch of isolated incidents that cannot be proven to source back to Gaddafi's orders (except of course those mysterious unnamed people NATO and their proponents keep bringing up)? NATOil up to it's old tricks again eh? Kill the leader for Libyan support, build alliance then ask for oil.
yes
WORLD POLICE
yes
In which case they better clear up their schedule because they have alot of other things to deal with after this.
with your bullshit Jenkem
http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1096297-NATO-is-now-targeting-Moammar-Gadhafi?p=30362312&viewfull=1#post30362312 I'm still not okay with this.
Basically, this.
yeah how DARE nato try to support a rebellion they're worse than gaddafi!!!!!!!
yeah how DARE nato try to support a rebellion they're worse than gaddafi!!!!!!!
I don't recall saying anything remotely similar to that.
yeah how DARE nato try to support a rebellion they're worse than gaddafi!!!!!!!
i'm probably missing something but I don't understand this post.
I don't recall saying anything remotely similar to that.
but you agreed with someone that said a longer version of that
Even if NATO does this with honest intentions, it looks like they're doing it out of self-interest. That can't go well with the Libyans.
NATOil up to it's old tricks again eh? Kill the leader for Libyan support, build alliance then ask for oil.
Yeah, take over the country for the oil, then not touch a drop of it. Seriously, its like ShukaidoX cloned himself and forgot to include the comedy. At least with him, he's kinda realized we all knows he's crazy and just think of him as a joke. He still makes up crazy unfounded theories, but he makes them funny and he isn't an ass about it, just silly and crazy.
i'm probably missing something but I don't understand this post.
a few people are butthurt that nato's trying to help out and want them to stop supporting the rebels I don't understand it either
i'm probably missing something but I don't understand this post.
Sarcasm. [editline]25th June 2011[/editline]
He's the guy that refuses to believe that there is blood underneath his skin unless he actually sees it in the open.
Just give him some PCP. That'll solve one dilemma in a hurry. Though, it reality, it may explain the current one too.
:raise:
I bet he could be fined if he doesn't chooses in a week day.

Why would you want to help either of these sides? The only thing you can realistically pull out of this war is an ally that might provide oil. Wars don't really bring back the treasure like they used to so it's just a big waste of money unless you get something back.
Wars don't really bring back the treasure like they used to so it's just a big waste of money unless you get somethng back.
like SETI.
