i sorta wish they would just do a monthly subscription it would actually probably be better than buying an expansion pack for 60 bucks every year. if they continue to add a lot of content for the game then i would rather do it this way

It was something different.

You guys do realize that Activision is doing this because they found out how foolish many of the players are, (obviously releasing the map packs and repetitive gameplay), they found a loophole in their gaming technique which will save them the cost to create their games and rake in cash. I'd say... Activision is pretty smart, they aren't the fools.

If that happens then that means less money in activisions pockests, if you think about it really they are really dumbasses, if they were to make games with innovation and originality instead of what they usually do they could create an even bigger fan base that could last years to come, with this in just a few years the whole series will go to shit. If they were really smart they could get even more money in their pockets, but this is all my logic and opinion and I can be very retarded sometimes so who knows!

Can't wait until this comes out! We should start a Facepunch CoD:Elite clan or something now so that we're all buddy-buddy when it comes out.

Well I saw the trailer for it and unless they are trying to deceive me it doesn't sound so bad. From what I gather it's a social network that is pay to use, it provides detailed stat tracking and a clan system. It sounds like it won't affect casual players negatively.

After watching the video, this doesn't seem all that bad really. If it's just a website or whatever where you can keep track of all the game stats more indepth and all that and it simply requires you to pay money to get an account there, I don't see what's so awful about it, it's not really affecting the game itself in any way. Even better, all the CoD kiddies will have their own website where they can argue on who can quickscope better.
