Does it seem to anyone else as if the Russian users are a little bit TOO loyal to their country?
No, there are two other Russian posters above who are not. Only karimatrix has so far shown a leaning towards Putin's version of events. And karimatrix, most of the people charged are involved with CONCACAF, which has offices in Miami, Fl. With a lot of the alleged bribery occurring on US soil or involving US banks/etc. So US has solid reason to be going after them. The probe into the 2018 and 2022 World Cup is headed by the Swiss.
Can Putin get even more shady at this point? Jesus fuck, it's like he's not even trying to hide it.
Um, i watched his "backin" of fifa guy, and i would not say he was concerned about him personally but rather expressed concern regarding timing (two days before election) and methods that were used. FIFA is an international organisation and USA got a a bad record with detainment of foreign citizens abroad US soil in a past. Not to mention that they are bringing them in to US court for being accused at corruption schemes on US terrtory without a final verdict , rather than provide interpol and respected european court right of justice over their citizens(atleast in my understanding). Then, if they are found guilty for messing with US bucks, they could have been sent to Murica for a secondary processing without a scandal. Again, this is just my personal interpretation of official's state.
why do you jump in to defend Putin in every thread, without fail? no matter what it is that he's doing you think he has to have some noble motive behind it. he's a dictator, dude. you actually think he gives a shit about everything you just said? it's all just about one-upping the US or asserting power for him it's getting old b/c whatever you say isn't credible to anyone anymore
I like how in the media Putin is always portrayed as a saint while Obama is ridiculed and mocked, Cameron's another story though.
The best are the conspiracy nuts who call FOX/MSNBC/CNN American propaganda then unironically cite Russia Today as unbiased journalism
Apparently a whopping 2% of Brits think Blatter should stay in his position

For last god damn time - explaining in details someone's position =\= defending it. I am sorry that rather than simply dive in mindless bashing and criticism I try to present full overview to reasoning presented by other side in argument. And don't bother with ''you are not credible'' crap. it's a forum and if my posts annoy you simply add them to ignore list and go on with your existance.
