I completely lost track of the whole Zimzam thing a while ago
whatever happened with that bit about him pulling a gun on his wife or w/e wasn't he being charged with assault
Okay okay, regardless of if Tray was killed in self defense or not I'm going to just set that aside for a moment. I think it's kind of shitty that he walks around signing autographs and acting like a celebrity. Either way if what he did was justified or not, I would absolutely never be walking around playing movie star if this was the reason for my publicity. I feel like it's so disrespectful.
Remember: The fact no one could let it go, and had to make a big "IT WACISM" deal out of it is what caused this. Like school-shooters, mass-stabbers, terrorist, and otherwise, you create Anti-Heroes and Celebrity Villains.
and had to make a big "IT WACISM"
But it was wacism. Even if we accept that the actual shooting was in self defense, all the events leading up to it were caused by wacism and zimmerman looking for a "thug" to harrass.

Now we have a possibly racist asshole going around making autographs out to people, because the Mass Media has to get a hard-on for anti heroes, and in part leads more people to try to act like heroes with CC.
whatever happened with that bit about him pulling a gun on his wife or w/e wasn't he being charged with assault
Didn't his wife make it up? And I thought he was getting charged for Assault for doing that to his Girlfriend. hm.
Every time somebody makes a hilarious blanket statement like this I just imagine them yelling at imaginary people in a completely empty room or a brick wall. Who the hell are you even trying to whip out an epic zinger on right now, and what did they do to you besides, I don't know, existing? Did they steal your lunch money or something?
Last time I checked "leftwing social justice warrior" is pretty fucking specific I have to associate with several on a regular basis and I just hate how arrogant they are
"They don't want his kind of people there" What? The ones that use guns in self-defense? What a puss
Christ this is stupid. Shooting a teenage boy, whether justified or not, whether self-defense or murder, should not make someone a celebrity. Please stop posting news stories about him; when you give those news stories traffic you reward them with ad revenue and tell the awful hacks who write about this guy "Yes, I do want to read more news stories about Zimmerman, write more."
the reason he is a celebrity is more about the media demonizing him and spreading false information constantly for months and him not being found guilty, than the fact that he shot trayvon in self defense.
Yo I don't think that characterization of the controversy surrounding him is accurate (people's legitimate complaints about systemic racism in America's justice system are far from vapid "demonization") but even if that characterization was accurate he would still just be some random idiot who shot someone and didn't go to jail. He's entirely undeserving of any modicum of media attention now that his trial has ended.
Feels like a satirical overly stereotypical American news story. Except it's real.

It lead to the whole country crying about a case they probably didn't even fully understand, and now this man is hated for a crime he was found innocent of, and let this infamy go to his head as popularity. Its tragic yes, but it wasn't the national tragedy it was made out to be.
I for one. Am sick of hearing about this guy.
The media should never get involved in murder trials. They all just make these gossip "fun" stories like Casey Anthony and George "Zimzam" Zimmerman.
Didn't even know there was a gunshow in Orlando. Neat!
