Ron Paul is a politician which has very backwards beliefs and could potentially do substantial damage to the country both economically and socially if elected. Why FP has a hardon for him I will never understand. It's not like he hides these beliefs they are very easy to find.
Yes I'm sure his policies would lead to the deaths of hundreds of children in the Middle East, the incarceration of tens of thousands of people for choosing what chemicals enter their bodies, corporate feudalism - Because that's not the system we're living in now - and rampant unemployment - Because everyone knows, any economic policy not based on "We're all dead in the long run, so spend a lot until everyone's employed, and pass the buck to the next generation  " is clearly an irresponsible policy.
TBH I don't mind reddit or 4chan
But facepunch is ALWAYS my first port of call

Because most politicians do, Ron Paul just happens to have a lot of views that are inline with a large chunk of FP.

He may be a joke to some but he's less than one when compared to the majority of reps and senators.
no im pretty sure hes still a joke
whenever i hear about him my mind jumps to: "ABOLISH THE FED AND TOKE IT UP"
Fuck Ron Paul. Just reading his comments on reddit reinforced how obnoxious I think he is.

Sorry, but I don't like the idea of his bullshit sending everyone else's on the planet's job propects to shit. The man's an economic ignoramus, amongst many other failings.

When you hear about Obama, does your mind jump to a Middle Eastern family hiding in a basement or a bomb shelter, with a missile a centimeter away? No, of course not.
option so naturally people severely disenchanted with the current Congress (especially on matters of foreign policy) gravitated towards him.
Its interesting. When he preached that the the golden rule be applied to foreign policy infront of a crowd of Republicans he was boo'ed but when it came to saving money from cutting military spending he was cheered.
imagine supporting ron paul
