my understanding of a remote-access trojan is simply that it allows the person who created it to access and control the computer of the infectee. (alá a remote desktop program) i've spoken to a user before and he told me this was the case. if it's incorrect then i apologise.
For the record, the arguing in this thread is now indistinguishable from the banter over at 2ch.
