I prefer Chrome because I can google anything through my address bar.
Ctrl+T > searchquery > results
I dislike it because it has a habit of double posting and/or hanging when I try to post on FP
I like to use IE9 just because I can browse fullscreen. I tried chrome, but whenever I want to type a new URL in, I have to go outta fullscreen. I'm too much of a lazy fuck to do that.
Ctrl+L works.
Edit, or at least it used to.
I'm just to lazy to figure out the differences between chrome and firefox. Also if I remember correctly firefox was nonprofit so I feel cool using it.
Yea I'm thinking about using chrome soon, something has happened to facepunch with my firefox and it's really annoying.

Have you tried ctrl-f4?
I prefer Firefox because NoScript. The only reason I use crome on this macbook is because YouTube lags like shit on this thing when I'm using Firefox for some reason
Chrome has ScriptNo but the interface is poo
[editline]2nd December 2011[/editline]
NoScript isn't useless by the way, if I only allow the websites I'm familiar with I'm completely safe from any malicious sites

Pretty much ANY decent antivirus blocks malicious web scripts.
Besides Chrome's designed with sandboxing in mind.

Well, I'm not just talking about malicious things but it blocks basically anything annoying and I like that. I can choose myself what I want to see.
I'll move back to chrome when they add a master password feature like in Firefox. I really do prefer Chrome, but I don't want my passwords hanging out all over the place.

Webkit is fantastic.
I don't even have to type that, it comes up at fa.
f works for me.
Well I'm already only using Chrome on my laptop, and I'm strongly considering doing the same with my desktop when formatting next time.
Firefox has simply just lost it's edge against chrome, so Mozilla better come up with something truly innovating or they're gonna be the next IE.
Like not use 200mb+ of memory?
facebook comes up when i type any letters up to face
Opera probably has to be my favorite. I'm using Chrome right now so I have my Greasemonkey scripts for battlelog

I found that Opera is O.K, but really slows down on some pages.
Opera Mobile is awesome though
Anyone know the secret to getting chrome adblock to actually block ads.. When I use firefox it blocks 95% of ads and with chrome its more like 60%
I'd rather not support Google.

But Chrome is open source, Google released it's source code I thought
plus Google made the open source android platform

It's like you can just feel the IE users migrating to Chrome on that chart.
Google Chrome isn't open source, Chromium is though
And didn't Google make Chromium?
that's what I'm trying to say, not supporting Google in the name of supporting open source software is stupid, considering Google has made and makes open source software
Who the hell uses opera?
Firefox just started freezing on me every ten seconds, even after a fresh Windows installation. So I moved all my shit to Chrome. Since I found plugins for pretty much everything I wanted, I don't think I'll ever move back.
I switched back to firefox from chrome yesterday. I had Chrome since the day it came out but because of some recent update, chrome started to freeze up frequently and use an unnecessary amount of memory. The new version of firefox acts virtually the same as chrome only all processes in the browser are kept as one process. If someone could diagnose my memory usage issue with chrome though I would definitely witch back.
Opera is less than 5%? Damn it, I feel like a hipster, now. Except a hipster who uses something due to it's functionality.
Though Chrome's "different process per tab" things is good for closing specific tabs when they crash, it's close to impossible to differ any of them.

That's why you use Chrome Task Manager. You can kill them via that and it shows the memory usage for each and such
Personally, I think that opera is more of a middle ground between speed and customization. I really love the way that the UI is layed out as well.
ITT:
Firefox users being snobbish about "open source" and criticizing chrome for how simple and it is
Chrome users being snobbish about "sleekness" and criticizing firefox for how much of a RAM hog it is
IE users sitting in the corner drooling
Opera users being hipsters
Also I don't like having the tabs at the top instead of the bottom.
wat
Every browser with tabbing I've encountered has always had them at the top. Is it optional in FF?

Man I used Opera for a while. It was a piece of shit. Crashed at the drop of a hat, relatively heavy on resources, and an eyesore. Firefox was my main browser for a few years but a while ago, after reinstalling windows, I decided to try out Chrome and I like it for its simplicity. Firefox is still a good choice though.
