Google event confirmed for September 29th, new Nexuses and a Chromecast refresh expected

The model is 2 years old, and doesnt even do 1080p. I think its time for a new model. Plus its not exactly invalidating the old one just because a new one with higher specs came out.

The Chromecast definitely does 1080p, 60fps.

I'm going to guess the new one does native 4K now, and has a menu of some kind with apps. Like a mini Nexus Player.
