Former MLG Gears of War pro killed over PS4 he sold over Craigslist - Polidicks

It's not worth losing your life over a playstation. Obviously he should have chosen a better location to meet up, but he unfortunately didn't. Obviously he shouldn't have resisted the mugging, but he unfortunately did and the scumbag shot him over it. A series of unfortunate events and decisions that led to this. Your life is invaluable, possessions aren't. I've luckily never been mugged before (and plan on it never happening) but if the situation ever arises where i am, i'm giving the piece of shit whatever he wants. I'd rather not get shot over a wallet, or a backpack, or a laptop, or a playstation. I can buy another one. You won't have a use for any of those possessions if you get killed over trying to protect them

It's just that all it takes is one time of you getting a nutjob showing up to cause problems. I bet your dad screens out whoever sounds sketchy. A good way to tell is observe the ratio of people coming over to look vs people coming over to buy. If your dad has to show the electronics to a few different people before someone buys it, that's not a good sign. If you dad always seems to sell it right away, that means he's screening out the rest, that's good.

You know, it said he tried resisting the robbery, which IMO, is dumb UNLESS the gun wasn't pulled out and when he resisted they pulled out and just shot him Which doesn't make it better either way, all I am just saying is, if someone pulls a gun or a knife on you to try and rob you, just give it to them, it's not worth it. I'm sure you all know this. I sell/buy things over CL enough to know which ones are sketchy. I only do deals at public places, I never go to there house or have them come meet at mine (Unless it's a car that obviously can't be moved.)

I got my old 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee through Craigslist. I told the guy I would not be bringing cash money. Instead, I said I wanted to check it out, test drive it then see about a money order. The dude wouldn't gank me in front of a huge crowd at Walmart.
