yeah but imo considering only modern electronic devices that can run arbitrary programming to be "computers" is a rather limited definition of the word. i understand that we're talking about the average person's connotation but that's not really relevant to the definition itself as the word has to do with what the device is capable of (computing) not what we perceive it to be.
