Sharks sometimes mistake people for seals even when wearing SCUBA suits. So... Wear a rainbow SCUBA suit. [sp]I hope sharks are not colour blind.[/sp]
Well, sharks bite to "feel" stuff, in the same way we would touch smell or taste something. It is their way of seeing if it it what it is. If a shark wanted to eat someone, you are going to have a much harder time. This is one reason why there can be many shark bites but very few deaths related to sharks.
Well ain't that cute. But what about forgiving people?
The shark then apologized and offered his respects.
I wish all children were like her, then maybe the environment would have a fighting chance.
Fuck that shit, I wish all people were like her.
We need more people as kind as this. :3:
I remember reading some statistic that you're more likely to be killed by a deer then a shark, and that's impressive considering how skiddish deer are. Those hooves will fuck you up.

It's like the one about being more likely to be struck by lightning than bitten by a shark--sure, lightning can strike anywhere, sharks only live in the ocean, and the few people who do live near the ocean only spend a limited amount of time there, and even more rarely do they ever actually see a shark. If you're in the middle of Kansas, standing in a field, you're yeah, more likely to get struck by lightning. But if you're in the water, and there's a shark near you...at that moment? You're probably more likely to get bitten by the shark.
I wish more people had her forgiving mindset.
The shark then apologized and offered his respects.
To further prove he was sincere, he then made a modest donation towards the girl's college fund.
I seen this on HLN this morning, If only little girls would be filled with good like this one instead of "I DON'T CARE" or "BUY ME THIS"
I wish more people had her forgiving mindset.
Forgiveness is actually good for your health! But it tastes like shit. Much like vegetables I suppose.

The only shark attacks are by curious sharks just having a taste. (To my knowledge, please correct me if I'm wrong)
I wish all children were like her, then maybe the environment would have a fighting chance.
Yeah, Today all I see in the City I live in are little shitbags thinking they are cool because they're smoking in the age of fucking 11.
To further prove he was sincere, he made a modest donation towards the girl's college fund.
He chewed up his wallet.
"But I like dolphins way better."
So she doesn't know about how dolphins are the serial rapists of the sea?
That is a badass last name, and that is a badass little girl, shrugging off a shark bite like that.
Forgiveness is actually healthy for you! But it tastes like shit. Much like vegetables I suppose.
Forgiveness actually feels good man. It helps if the other guy apologizes of course.

(To my knowledge, please correct me if I'm wrong)
People on boogie boards or surf boards look like seals or turtles to sharks, as far as I'm aware, so they tend to attack people on those as opposed to others. The silhouette drives them to attack, not that fact it's a human. The fact that girl forgives the shark warms my heart though - I'm not sure I could.
What was the shark's response?
He apologized, he's really just a big softie who thought she was a seal.
I love these kinds of stories
