The governments full of idiots who want this stuff done. It didn't help when I realised last week I was related to the guy in charge of the scheme... My whole life is a LIE
Grenade at next family reunion.
Do it.
/b/ has proved that untrue.
I mean, really. I have to clear my firefox info whenever I go to 4chan. I'm almost entirely sure there's CP there.
It's usually /b/anned in a few minutes.
If not seconds
If it's even there in the first place.
I told everyone who argued with me about australia bans shit that this wouldn't go through in the end; and now look, public support is dropping tonnes. It won't go through.
Don't go to 4chan and you will never "accidentally bump" into CP.
Really? i thought they would love it! oh well.
what kind of child wants to even see that stuff in the first place?
Since when is child porn illegal for children?
I still think my idea of sending everyone a free CD with filtering software is better.
1. You can install it if you want, don't have to if you don't wanna.
2. It goes to everyone, so no one can complain about "omg my kids finding porn"
3. Don't think kids are tech savvy enough to bypass it anyway.
If I'm not mistaken, wouldn't a proxy fix the censorship problem?
Since when is child porn illegal for children?
Since it was ruled illegal in every context available?

I've been lurking /b/ for over a year, and I have NEVER seen anything that has small children and nudity in the same picture.

Nope. Well, you can but it's illigal.
It's not like you run into CP whenever you surf.
Censorship is dumb by definition.
If CP is so easy to see, stop the distributors, not the viewers.
Protect children from Child Pornography?
What?

I always wondered if you are considered to be a pedophile for fantasying about underage peers.

Good fucking idea. I wonder how comes that nobody ever had this idea before :downs:
“It was clear that those supporting it were taking a relatively simplistic view that it would help children stay safe online and deter paedophiles, while those opposed it asked a lot more questions,” Vercoe said.
What does this tell us, then?
It tells us that the ones asking questions like everyone should are more trustworthy, than the idiots believing what their goverment tells them and not doing any research on their own.
Just forbid the use of Internet to people under the age of 18 and our world will be such a better place.
