Kinda sucks to see all their lives basically ruined after this. At that age, you're a completely different person every 2 years. Who knows how their lives might otherwise have played out? After these jail terms, they'll be basically unemployable as ex-cons that have never worked a legitimate job in their lives, so as of now they're basically doomed to a life of prison and/or additional crime. But, beating someone to death does carry consequences. You can't argue they didn't bring this on their own damn selves. Kids are stupid, but not stupid enough to excuse murder.
