No he isn't.
You don't want to admit to it, but smoking marijuana is an objectively negative influence on your life, your future, your ambition, etc. Of course some people break through it, and perhaps in the case of you guys disagreeing with me here, you don't want to admit it has a negative effect. This doesn't change the facts at hand.

"legalize weed and everyone will be high!" "legalize alcohol and everyone will be drunk!" no that's not how it works [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] just because something is now legal doesn't mean everyone is going to do it.
How is it any more negative than drinking alcohol? I think it's risky to the corporations/commercial economy that marijuana is legalized. That's why I'm pro-marijuana.
Yes legalise it, so stupid people can get high all the time and leave the good jobs to non-weed smokers :D Progress! - + The government gets to tax it.

youre an idiot (User was banned for this post ("Flaming" - Craptasket))
what the fuck just happened there? but in regards to the thread it's like KEEP DEVIL PLANT ILLEGAL *sips on jack and coke*
what the fuck just happened there?
Just because someone makes a stupid post doesn't mean you can make one just calling them stupid. That is what the dumb rating is for.
"legalize weed and everyone will be high!" "legalize alcohol and everyone will be drunk!" no that's not how it works [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] just because something is now legal doesn't mean everyone is going to do it.
i actually did a highschool presentation on decriminalization in portugal, and i referenced a ron paul moment where he asked a room full of upper class fuckheads, "if heroin was legalized this very second, would any of you be running out of this room?" The conversation then turned to 'B-B-BUT I CAN'T TRUST OTHER PEOPLE TO NOT DO THINGS'. Yeah, you're fucking right, there's nothing stopping that sober guy from reading a text and turning your organs into paste, and there's nothing stopping the minuscule population that would continue doing heroin if they had to pay 5x more for government regulated shit from throwing their lives away, deal with it.
Just because someone makes a stupid post doesn't mean you can make one just calling them stupid.
i'm talking about the fact that someone posted obvious flame bait and not getting banned for it in the first place. it's like the mods would rather not ban the catalyst of a problematic situation but just to ban the fallout. you guys know if you banned people who made those stupid baiting posts in the first place, people wouldn't do it.
because, the like, facts dude i don't do anything that might change my perception chemically, so i eat taste free rice cakes and only drink rainwater i purified myself. i don't want to change around any chemicals i don't understand and then end up dumb!!
You'd better not look at a woman, seeing her breasts might cause your brain to release chemicals and mess everything up.
give me a widely accepted, statistically verified study that shows what you just said isn't fucking stupid just because you think that all guys who smoke are lazy fucks doesn't mean it's true.
It'd be amazing if I could get a statistically verified study that showed you median income, turns out something specific like that isn't done. It is shown that educational performance is impacted negatively, (source: http://www.theroadout.org/drug_information/marijuana/effects_of_heavy_marijuana_use_on_learning_and_social_behavior.html) It seems pretty evident that marijuana is a negative effect on life, again, you're scared to admit it which is why you're so aggressive about it, but it seems obvious that weed is an objectively negative effect on a person's success. Yes, of course there are people who are successful who have smoked weed, but they were amazing people anyway, weed doesn't have a big enough effect to hurt their lives enough to make them unsuccessful.
Weed doesn't make you lazy; lack of motivation makes you lazy. Weed is definitely not an inhibitor of getting work done, unless you just don't have any tolerance for it. I can tell, because you're factually inconsistent with reality.
You'd better not look at a woman, seeing her breasts might cause your brain to release chemicals and mess everything up.
i neutered myself to prevent such problematic occurrences and to free myself from the most unnatural influences of ungodly hormone chemicals being released.
This doesn't change the facts at hand.
you have no facts. just baseless conclusions you learned at drug education in middle school

It is like seeing that all fat people wear xxl shirts and then assuming that wearing an xxl shirt makes you fat.
Yes, of course there are people who are unsuccessful who have smoked weed, but they were shitty people anyway, weed doesn't have a big enough effect to change their lives enough to make them unsuccessful.
[editline]1st June 2013[/editline]
empty quote post
And you too, same thing.
Yeah you can think of it that way if you really don't want to admit its negative effect, if you want to show your desperate ignorance, then that's cute.
my brother smokes every day and still manages to balance work and school, making good grades. he's not an outlier, he's a normal young adult. normal young adults smoke weed. you need to reevaluate your life

[editline]1st June 2013[/editline] And you too, same thing.
and 'educating' the pro-pot plebs isn't just as ignorantly and desperately attention seeking? get on our level
my brother smokes every day and still manages to balance work and school, making good grades. he's not an outlier, he's a normal young adult. normal young adults smoke weed
Good for him, he is an outlier, unless you can show me something that proves that people who smoke weed everyday aren't different in educational attainment or income.
Yeah you can think of it that way if you really don't want to admit its negative effect, if you want to show your desperate ignorance, then that's cute.
You might as well have started your argument out with, "well, there's nothing anyone can say that'll change my opinion on this topic that I know nothing about, but here's what grade school taught me about marijuana." At least then there would've been a disclaimer. The fact of the matter is, a man should be judged by the quality of his work, not by the quality of his piss. Smoking weed does not make you any less of a functional member of society; indeed it only makes you a happier member of society.
and 'educating' the pro-pot plebs isn't just as ignorantly and desperately attention seeking? get on our level
Well why not help them admit to the dangers of their trade? I still think it should be legalized for basic freedom of body reasons, but admitting its dangers is good, we do it with cigarettes, weed shouldn't be treated differently.
dangers? dont make us laugh it has a chemical in it that inhibits cancer cell growth
Yeah you can think of it that way if you really don't want to admit its negative effect, if you want to show your desperate ignorance, then that's cute. [editline]1st June 2013[/editline] And you too, same thing.
How about you provide evidence to the contrary which isn't from a drug rehab website? Of course they are going to tell you it is bad, they are trying to sell you a way to stop.
you have no facts. just baseless conclusions you learned at drug education in middle school
Jesus christ are you guys so fucking scared of this that you immediately personally insult someone? How pathetic that you abandon human decency for your fucking agenda.

Of course they are going to tell you it is bad, they are trying to sell you a way to stop.
http://www.ukcia.org/research/young/AdolescentCannabisUseEducationalAttainment.pdf "Conclusion: Cross-sectional and longitudinal research indi- cates that young people who use cannabis are at increased risk of poor school performance and reduced educational attainment. The evidence from longitudinal studies suggests that some component of these associations arises because the risk factors that predispose young people to cannabis use overlap with those factors that inde- pendently predict poor educational attainment. However, not all of the association between early cannabis use and reduced educational attain- ment can be explained by the effects of common or correlated risk factors. In particular, there is evidence that early cannabis use independently increases the risks of early school leaving."
