Well, the reputation of US has grown a little in front of my eyes. Seems like someone still cares about us, three little unknown countries... :unsmith:
Well no shit wiki leaks, thats one of the main reasons NATO was created in the first place.
And i thought the cold war was over...
You know even the US and UK spy on each other?
You know even the US and UK spy on each other?
You know that the entire world spies on everyone? It's national security 101.
And I thought that Medvjedev and Obama eating burgers together solved everything!
Goddammit Wikileaks, I thought you were supposed only to release embarrassing (like about corruption and what-not,not plans that could maybe save lots of people in case of a war) things about the US, not military defense plans of other countries in case of a war with Russia (which knows all the details of the plans now obviously)

good to hear, i live in estonia and we are liek russia bitch
good to hear, i live in estonia and we are liek russia bitch
Yeah, but you don't want to be called Russian, do you?
This isn't a planned invasion or provocation, but a last ditch defense plan if Russia invades the Baltic States. I don't think anyone sensible in the Russian or collected NATO governments will be too shaken up by this, although NATO commanders might be a bit pissed off. I still don't see the benefit of leaking it, but I don't think harm will come from it.
If you live in the baltics and get invaded by Russia, you might think otherwise. :P
God damnit russia you did this 70 years ago. Stop, we've been free for 20 years only :downs:
Canada is not one of the NATO countries involved? What happened U.S.A I thought we were Bros.
We're not trying to hold the Fulda Gap anymore. :v:
Well, the reputation of US has grown a little in front of my eyes. Seems like someone still cares about us, three little unknown countries... :unsmith:
There's good mineral wealth there. Like they give a shit about the well being of the governments and peoples.
Yeah and the bombers were intercepted every time, at least in the Uk to my knowledge
As far as the UK knows, but in at least one instance that I read at least 2 years ago a Russian aircraft coming in from California made it to Colorado before being detected and forced out. And in the case of the UK, the known bombers all made it within viewing distance of the coast before being detected. Shit can still get real over a small issue.
Ok, releasing the stuff about prisoner torture and war crimes by the U.S. makes sense. But why this?
Because fuck Murrcurr
They're used, as you've exaggerated, "slaves" for being new. AKA How the older people treat freshmen in highschool. It's sort of an initiation ritual that ALL countries with a notable military have. In Russia, it's much tougher from what I saw. Many if not the majority of the Russian people are very patriotic and in some cases, nationalistic. They're in no way "unmotivated".
Hazing in the Russian military is generally a lot worse than that. Most modern militaries crack down on that practice hard due to it being detrimental to unit cohesion, the health of the ones on the receiving end and so on.
You are? That's pathetic. Where do you live?
No, that's not pathetic. Other thing is. As far as I know, there's a lot of Russians out there in Balic states. Who often cry something like 'NATO go home', 'BALTIC IS RUSSIAN' and other shit like that. Shame is, noone of them wants to move back to Russia. Because, where would they be then? They like their good living in, for example, Estonia, but they kind of have 'Russian imperialistic' shit in their heads. They are pathetic hypicrites. We hate them.
This actually isn't unusual. The US (and most other countries, I imagine) has plans for EVERYTHING. The US Army seriously has a plan for "the Girl Scouts start an armed rebellion" and "zombie invasion". The reason is that the best way to train military planners is to have them make plans. And, since they already made them, what's the hurt in filing it away, just in case. And planning for "Russia invading the Baltic states" isn't that illogical - the USSR did so in the late 30s, and Putin/Medvedev have been acting somewhat similarly to the Soviets with regard to foreign policy.
I would kill them, steal their cookies, and eat every single last Caramel Delight.
Esponiage existed before wikileaks. I have a hard time believing that the same website you and i go to for information is also being used by other world governments. They get their hands on classified information all of the time. But at the same time though.. that proves a valid point. This isn't really important, and doesn't really change anything. Wikileaks needs to tighten up the seal and show us some INTERNAL problems such as banking and corrupt corporations
That is a defense plan, not a problem or an imperfection that was being covered. :raise:
