Their dick is bigger than you :smug:
So? Bigger than you too. What's your point?
I'm not gonna lie, I had dolphin meat once and it tasted like ass.
So? Bigger than you too. What's your point?
You should learn to appreciate what we have to see on this earth. Have you ever even seen a whale swimming in the ocean free? It's the most breathtaking thing to see a creature so large and imposing yet it's one of the most calm and peaceful in our planet.
I'd love to try whale meat, yes.
Hur funny :downs:
Fuck dolphins and whales, they taste good.
How is sexual intercourse with dolphins related to their good taste ?
Could be using that intelligence for better purposes than driving whales to extinction.
it could show earth whos boss though. we are the only species with potential to effectively eradicate entire ecosystems.
Hur funny :downs:
I'm dead serious
I'd love to try whale meat, yes.
I'm told it tastes of bad beef and cod liver oil. Not worth your time.
It's not like a human rights code ever stopped anybody. This is all lip service; if cetaceans are smart enough they'll make their own.
We should be allowed to go Japanese whaler hunting for "Scientific research"
Great, more animal rights bullshit. Untill they can build a house or produce a product and develop a standing in the global market, they don't need our rights. Dumb rights are dumb, and fishsympathisers needs to grow up and see these things for what they are. Giant fish with a womb. Nothing more, nothing less, only 'cause they don't eat us at sight, and sing, does not make them "intelligent", charming, yes, aquired to be treated humane? Yes, have the right to vote and earn real-estate? NO! That has taxfraud written all over it. The moment it happens, I'll marry a whale, and sign over all my debts to it. EDIT: I thought they meant HUMAN rights, not whale-adapted-global-protective-rights. I don't mind that. Take your boxes and shove them up your arse!
Soon: japan breaks human rights while hunting whales. Different countries have different human rights, nothing you can do.
Hell yeah!
Soon: japan breaks human rights while hunting whales. Different countries have different human rights, nothing you can do.
If whales were to have rights then we could send in ships to seize whalers and prevent them from driving the whales to extinction.

No one, NO ONE is wanting to give whales and shit the right to vote and own property. They're simply asking to give cetaceans the most basic of rights to life and liberty(which they are already technically born with). Basically, a global understanding that these animals are "smarter than the average bear" and making the killing of one illegal(which it already is in most places). The use of the word "Human rights" was a bad idea because that's not what we are giving them. We are simply giving them the right to free roam the planet without human intervention. Of course, northern tribes that depend on whales would still be allowed to kill them, as they still do despite the 1986 motarandum. Just like how indian tribes can still kill Bald Eagle despite it being the national bird. Don't over think this thing people, it's really really simple.
Human rights is a bad term and makes it easy for the opposition to be pedantic. Whales and dolphins are incredibly big, strong and remarkably smart, they certainaly need the right to life and freedom(liberty, fucking ninjas).

But, grantedly, they shouldn't be killed, since I doubt there's much to gain from them anyways, seafood always tastes like shite. I won't mind supporting this, not because they are in any way more intelligent, or just because they tend to give the tourists googly eyes, but because they are clearly highly developed life forms, and they should indeed deserve the basics of saftey from us humans. Also to improve resturants everywhere. Ox, wolf, moose, bear, turkey, horse... That's the kind of animals I want on the plate, not some watery, tasteless half-boiled crap that smells like when old men boil their arses in hut tubs at the local spa. Needless to say, I got your point, and I support it.

Whales also have complex social structures, a language within it's species, have sex for pleasure and not just procreation, and some researchers say they have individual names within a pod. They are among the few animals on earth that recognize their individual self. I guess you could say they are self aware.

It's like saying ALL humans are intelligent, which I have grand contradicting evidence of. Once they can participate in science, or show any type of abilities to calculate or produce things such as primitive tools or dwellings, it's not much intelligence neccecarily. Look at rednecks, they have names, they have their own langauge, they breathe alot, and they fuck eachother all the time.
I've never realy thought about it but now I do... Cetacea are fucking slick. Look at him. LOOK AT HIM. That Blue Whale is the BIGGEST MOTHERFUCKER THAT EVER LIVED. BIGGER THAN A FUCKING DINOSAUR.

They deserve to be protected.
I agree that they worded it badly with the "Human rights", but they just mean the right to life and liberty. AKA, not being hunted and kept in captivity.
whales feed lots of people effectively though

Save the M/31 Andromeda Galaxy!! :saddowns:
whales feed lots of people effectively though
Sure, but it's not sustainable. If the IWC was never formed, whales would probably be gone, or doomed by now, then no one would be able to eat them.
No, they shouldn't have human rights, they are not human. And they're tasty.
You shouldn't have human right, In fact I believe a dolphin deserves more right than you
dolphins are the shit mang fuck year give em rights
The thing is, theres no reason to hunt them for food, there are plenty of other animals that aren't on the edge of extinction.
