Bought the MCC bundle at Walmart. Good deal. Not a huge amount of exclusives on the xbox but I really like its front end as a TV device (I watch a lot of Trump and stuff on youtube so its great that I can seamlessly fling YT over to my xbox chromecast style and have it play perfect), and the MCC is a game I really really wanted to play through. Sunset Overdrive is pretty cool too, haven't gotten it yet though.
I took part in this ritual and got a PS4 and so far I am really enjoying myself. Granted, I've only played GTAV on it so far, however I've downloaded TLOU and have Shadow of Morder and Infamous on the way from Amazon. As someone who really enjoys messing around with recording stupid gaming clips, the share button is seriously a godsend. I'm around 15 hours with GTA and I've already gotten at least 10 minutes of edited clips of stupid stuff happening and I love it. The touchpad on the controller is, to me, the perfect blend of "gimmick" and functionality. Using it to type is pretty helpful, and GTA uses it pretty nicely. It seems like, for example, while the wii u's gamepad is saying "LOOK AT MY SCREEN", the Dualshock 4 is saying "this can be helpful sometimes". I do own a wii u so I know the screen can actually be really nice in some games, but the huge screen is a bit off putting for me sometimes. Downloading games on PS4 is really intuitive as well, being able to download the single player or multiplayer first and start the game while the other half is downloading is a great idea. Been really happy with it so far.
I'm content with my CoD Xbone bundle.
I got FH2 along with my cod-xbone and I couldn't be happier.
I thought about picking up a PS4 over the weekend due to there being a bundle for £300, but decided against it since there's very few games on the system that i'm interested in playing yet and there's only Bloodborne to look forward to. Maybe there will be a bigger price drop by the time the system has some worthwhile exclusives but until then it seems I'll be sticking to my PC and Wii U.
What's with people using dog as a synonym for bad/awful/etc? I've literally never seen or heard it used like this anywhere until yesterday when another FPer used it that way. [editline]1st December 2014[/editline] Nintendo tried way too hard to "innovate" and ended up shooting themselves in the foot, a touchpad controller is awful no matter how you look at it, no one wants to play with that bulky monstrosity and the poor sells prove it.
the touchpad controller is honestly fine and anyone that complains about it is basically confirmed to have never used it for any extended period of time, it feels like any other gamepad but slightly wider the worst part about the gamepad is that the shit going on on the small screen can distract you if you're trying to watch the TV, and that's it
