A friend of my mum's refuses to eat anything when she comes over our house unless she brings her own organic food with her Plus I know a load of parents who won't let their kids eat anything unless it's organic What's the point?

She also once asked me if we sold floral arrangements for funerals, since we sold flowers for Mothering Sunday.
Sounds like it's all in your head.
How can it be in my head? Why would I want to fool myself into thinking that I've got itches? It's a really horrible feeling. My entire throat and my whole mouth feels intensely itchy and stingy and it's a really horrible feeling. I'm 19, man. Why would I go about like a ponce pretending food upsets me when it doesn't? Seems a bit stupid to be honest. [editline]6th September 2012[/editline] At first I thought I was just allergic to apples, but then when I noticed I was getting it from eating plums, peaches and pears, I knew it wasn't an allergy, how could I be allergic to so many fruits? Then I figured it must be because I was buying my fruit from Tesco, so I decided I'd wash the fruit extra thoroughly. Didn't help. Buying apples from the farmers market didn't give me any problem at all. My throat wouldn't break out with stinging and itching.
The reason I buy organic is because I don't want fucking corn in my food. Seriously, there's corn in everything. In your soda, your pasta, and even your freaking burgers.
I remember watching a video where they did a test of some people's hair (I think a carbon test? i don't know the name) and found out most of their carbon came from corn. There is no black, no white, no brown. Only corn.

I don't know why, it just happens. I don't think there are any studies that shine light on it, but it does suck.
No shit. The difference between organic and non-organic food is a label and the price tag. Unless you're buying a Big Mac, all of your food is organic. All of it. It all comes from a plant or animal.
Do you work at an airport? Because you must be used to things flying way over your head.
You silly Americans and your "healthy eating" demands. Try coming to China and surviving on gutter oil for a year, you'll have a whole new level of appreciation for the "chemically processed food" that some of you despise so much. Although I have to say, gutter oil or not, authentic Chinese food is fantastic.
americans are the only ones who eat healthy now? i think you'll find americans mostly eat unhealthy
americans are the only ones who eat healthy now? i think you'll find americans mostly eat unhealthy
I thought organic food was mainly a US phenomenon? I could be wrong, in that case I'll include those filthy Europeans as well! If I'm in the mood I might throw Australia and New Zealand in there as well.
that's nice, good for you
Lighten up thisispain, I'm pretty sure he's just attempting to be funny. I can tell. As a fellow unfunny person, I can spot other unfunny people from a mile off.
