CEDA is quite weird, this is a previous championship:
I would be personally embarrassed to do this in a debate. It's such a joke. It would convince literally nobody about anything, which is the entire purpose of debate.
I think, it's like turning up to a game of tennis and complaining that you're playing tennis instead of football, then taking the ball and kicking it into the net that separates the court over and over and saying you're winning because your opponent isn't even trying to take the ball and kick it back from his side of the net. Then instead of being disqualified for not playing tennis, you win. I don't understand how you could argue about something completely unrelated to the subject that is to be debated and not instantly be disqualified or deemed to lose unless you can somehow segway what you're talking about into a point about the actual matter of debate. Is the news story just a ooga booga affirmative action the horror kind of article or is this legitimate?
okay, so what they did wasn't debating the motion and they lost right right?
I love how race can be brought into practically any damn topic, seriously, how does one go from war power restriction to race oppression?
