Like I said earlier in the thread, there's no point debating with denialists, they're fucking willfully retarded, just leave them to wallow in their own stupidity.
Can't really risk that, many denialists vote or hold public offices. I would agree that debating with denialists on the Internet, especially Facepunch is a futile endeavour; unlikely to hold a public office and most don't or can't vote.

It must be true, scientists said it. No way scientists can be wrong by any means. I mean if a leading scientist says: "Most Global warming was not our fault" He will lose his reputation and is no longer leading. (Example: Lord Kelvin hating on people who believe heavier-than-air objects can fly or people hating on Einstein). Let the dumb ratings rain, I like to see how many people believe everything because politicians of their favorite party or "leading" (a.k.a. conventional) scientist said the same.

But no, let's just assume that the vast majority is wrong and the tiny minority is right because "people can be wrong!" We're not believing them because "ooh they're famous so they must be right", we're believing them because "holy shit look at this mountain of evidence".
The greenhouse effect is natural. But thanks to the emission of CO2, we've intensified that effect. That's global warming. Global warming is not the effect where CO2 and other gases keep the planet warm, nor is it the natural cycle of ice ages. The word in itself implies it's not natural.
I'm all for spending every last resourceful fragment we can find on our planet, because it will be facing a certain heat death eventually anyway. But yes, that's so far ahead in the future so I hope won't get wiped out by something as pathetic as global warming by excessive CO2 emissions.

The arctic IS warming dude. There's hardly any ice left there.
