So I tune in to my local police scanner.... NOTHING.

The shooting occurred in the subway entrance to the Pentagon, from what I'm reading. Suspect is identified as 36 year old John Patrick Bedell, American citizen. They are interviewing a second suspect.

But they will tend to respond to the situation with this much force. I remember reading them doing something similar to a guy who sat in their parking lot for a long time.
