All public school in the U.S. can have a dress code but lets say it says you can't wear hats well if you're muslim and you wear a burka or whatever they can't stop you from doing it. We have freedom of religion for a reason and as much as I hate religion we still have the right to believe what we want. My school's dress code says no hates but we have a muslim student that is allowed to wear his burka because it is part of his religion.

I think not being able to have a single nose piercing is a little ridiculous, personally. Regardless if it's your religion or not.
