Start with the original series then work your way up to TNG, then you can pretty much stop
Deep Space Nine is incredible, especially if you like the actual universe and World War 1/2 parallels. Voyager is debatable, but a lot of fans like it. The more hardcore sect isn't too big on it. Enterprise is almost universally ostracized but there's more than a fair share of people who actually like it. On topic, this is only a good thing. Hope it's not so incredibly expensive that I can't get it when it comes out, it'd give me a reason to use my PS3 again. TOS/Animated (Sue me for putting TOS after Voyager, but I grew up watching Voyager so it will always be better to me.) Teir 4 Enterprise. Movies. First Contact> Generations> Khan> Everything else. PS. "Assimilate this!"
Indeed it does. I came as fast as I could! Now I just need a Blu-ray player!
Thank god you're here! Also you can get a bluray drive for pretty cheap these days, if you are looking for something a bit cheaper then buying a player.
The gets good when riker grows a beard
When a main character in Star Trek grows a beard you know shit's about to get good.
When a main character in Star Trek grows a beard you know shit's about to get good.
And stays goof for 6 seasons! :D and 3 guest appearances on DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise.
... I just watched through TNG like 3 months ago. Guess I'm doing it again.
Man, I still ahve an episode on laserdisc somewhere.
Man, I still ahve an episode on laserdisc somewhere.
I actually had to google what a Laserdisc was, HOLY SHIT those are huge! I feel young again.
I was expecting the whole thing remastered and ready to go next month. I am highly disappointed.
I was expecting the whole thing remastered and ready to go next month. I am highly disappointed.
They only started the remaster 3 months ago. Why would you want a half asses remastered.
Holy fuck yes i want this sooo bad. Can't wait.
I really hope they do this to DS9 and Voyager too, would love to have all 3 complete series on bluray! Btw why haven't Enterprise been released in bluray already? Wasn't it shot and broadcast in HD?
When a main character in Star Trek grows a beard you know shit's about to get good.
It's a strange rule, but it works. DS9 was pretty meh at first, but in the very episode that Sisko grows a beard, it becomes the best Star Trek series.
I've been getting into Star Trek for the past couple of months, I've mainly been watching TOS and Voyager. I've watched a couple of TNG episodes, but I'll probably go through the whole series once I'm done with Voyager.
Oh boy, HD Wesley!

It should have been TOS, TNG, then Voyager.
You are watching it in the wrong order :P. Yeah I knew Voyager was the most recent one in the canon, it's just that they're airing it in order on Sky Atlantic at the moment.
