The cornea's basically a thin film that covers the lens, holds it all together, and directs light into the eye. Since it's a nonvascular membrane, it can be replaced with little chance of rejection.
We can't exactly replace an eye, but we can replace a lot of the bits in it.

I mean, that much weight doesn't just disappear magically, especially at his age. It's easy for a 20-year-old or so, but at 50+ it's harder.
If he has done this all by himself, then it's even greater of an achievement.

Gabe really looks good in the new pictures, he is like my 2nd favorite idol due to that he made a company like Valve that is so different from the others and that he sounds so nice in everything.
Bill Gates is a bigger idol though for me, just because he did lay the basic for Windows but also because he just gives away so much money(granted he has alot of it) and plans to give so much he worked for away.
Edit: If he does that AMA, I would ask him how much hours he plays games a day, about how he feels about his time at Microsoft and how he thinks of Bill Gates himself.
