Not even good, even that Escape from City 17 was bad. Half Life 2 isn't meant to be made into a film, people should stop trying.

That's really nice. Perhaps they went a bit overboard with video effects, but being independent filmmakers this is very good quality. Honestly, the Half-Life plot isn't thick enough to stand being condensed into anything other than a cheezy action film. Naturally, the alternative to take the HL2 theme and setting and turning into something completely different also exist, but I can guarantee you that it would come off as even cheezier regardless of who was in charge of the script writing.

No Half-Life inspired productions are ever likely to come out as legendary movies, but out of affection for anything related to HL I'll still watch them all with amusement.
