Facebook itself may not consider its underage users to be a problem. Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has suggested the company may wage a legal fight to change or repeal the federal Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, which restricts what private information a website can collect from kids younger than 13 without a parent's permission. (Zuckerberg, by the way, doesn't have kids.)
God no. Corporations already have access to our private accounts and logs, now Zuckerberg wants to manipulate kids too?

My sister used my main user name to make a twitter account, and used my email to register habbo. (She doesn't have any of my passwords though)
I'm helping out with a summer camp these two weeks, and I was talking to the kids, they asked if they could add me on facebook, they're all around 11.

All around bad ideas. Except for the ones who listen to teachers and DARE officers, kids will make the same dumbass mistakes. Isn't it really easy to avoid people on Facebook by just not being "friends" with them? If you're someone who becomes infuriated at the sight of young people on Facebook, all you have to do is not be friends with them. Problem solved.
facebook games ore some of the most insipid, boring stuff I've tried, how can 4 year olds like that
That also applies to call of duty.
User name is real life name, with real birth year in face book, home phone, cell, address, pictures with GPS, etcetc.
call of duty is bad HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA youre almost as funny as dane cook
Then dane cook must not be funny because I was being serious. It's repetitive and boring.
Then dane cook must not be funny because I was being serious. It's repetitive and boring.
cool that has nothing to do with this thread
Remove facebook games, remove facebook groups (Or make it so it's really fucking hard to make one) and put a reasonable limit to facebook friends (I don't understand how people can have 1000 when i can hardly catch up with 90. 300 could be a nice number.) Oh, and make it so facebook account sign up is really fucking hard to do, or charges $0.50 via paypal or something. I know the second is probably a shitty idea but it'd remove half the facebook population, including retarded dummy accounts.
My cousins friend (11 years old) sent me a friend request. I was like, meh, and accepted. Next day facebook was showing that the person had joined groups "Moomins" and "Fuck shit up" Didn't take long to click the cross in friend settings. Also, I used to play Mafia wars until I realized it's fucking stupid.

I can't help but laugh A few months ago everyone on Facepunch said I was a dumbass for thinking Facebook would come and go like Myspace. "No it's not the same," they said. "There's SO much more stuff to do." Fastforward to a couple of days ago, people ridiculed Google+. Now all of the sudden it's the second coming?

Why give a fuck?
God damn, I need a google+ invite.
Google+ > Facebook.
Apple will sue like there is no tommorow.
And them make a app or service with that name, just because people will be gullible enough to pay for it.
I really only use Facebook to keep up with a few of my friends and a few things like Steam or Bethesda. And the only games I play on there are Robot Unicorn Attack (If only for that damn song and the acid trip that is the visuals,) and Assassin's Creed Legacy. I have exactly 22 friends on there, down from the 24 I had six months ago. So I don't particularly care what little kids do. I'm not going to add them to my friends list, or be in the stupid dysfunctional forum thing they have set up for groups, or even read any comments they might leave on something I like. They can't affect me if I don't let them, and I simply refuse to even acknowledge their existence, let alone potential impact. Hell, I have 101 friends on Steam, and I talk to maybe ten of them over the course of six months. I simply don't care enough to go through and remove them all.
I like Facebook, it's the majority of people I have added as friends on facebook that annoy the shit out of me. The "Like" pages and groups on Facebook drive me around the goddamn bend, and the fact that there are people who think that people really want them to know that they're out shopping or at home "SO BOREEEED UUUUGHHHH." Facebook isn't fucking twitter, although it's shaping up that way, so yeah, Google+ is actually looking pretty good.

how are you guys getting annoyed by kids on facebook?
how are you guys getting annoyed by kids on facebook?
My sentiments exactly.
Or we just remove facebook :downs:
Yes let's get rid of a service that millions of people enjoy and get practical use out of just because you don't like it. :downs:
And the only games I play on there are Robot Unicorn Attack (If only for that damn song and the acid trip that is the visuals,)
I hope you know about Techno Kitten Adventure then.
It doesn't become a problem until they start being extremely annoying. Which, of course 99% are. There should be a maturity test on Facebook to weed the idiots out. That'd be great.
There should be a maturity test on Facebook to weed the idiots out. That'd be great.
or you could just not add people you find annoying/stop using facebook
Blocked all facebook games invites, problem?
A simple rule for Facebook: Don't add anyone you don't know IRL.
