I can't see it being the Yogscast, when I lived in Bristol I used to talk to Duncan and Kim, they seemed really nice for famous people.

The whole story sounds really shady, first of all if they were so outraged why wouldn't they reveal the identity of this youtuber?
And then there's that thing called ads, I mean a youtuber with millions of viewers probably doesn't need to extort anyone for money.
Sounds more like a stunt to get attention than anything else. After all, any kind of publicity is good publicity.
And it's working too since this is all over the place.

To those that are saying "It can't be Yogscast, X is too nice to do that"
Yogscast has been fighting tooth and nail to avoid disclosing which of their videos are paid reviews or which games they have financial ties to.
I'm not saying it's Yogscast but you shouldn't dismiss them because they seem "nice".
I really wouldn't surprise me if it was the main Yogscast channel. I know Hat Films at least generally say if it's a paid promotion or not.
