Jesus, these guys make Alligators look cute (which they kind of are): Compare that to: This is what happens when rednecks get their hands on exotic "pets" and let them out into the wild when they grow too big. It's like the idiots over here who release snapping turtles into the canals that kill off the wildlife except this is far more damaging.
A proper sized colony of Nile Crocs in Florida would result in so many deaths it's not even funny. Fuckers are extremely aggressive.
Deaths? Oh boy, you misunderstand the pseudo-rednecks that live here. A proper sized colony of Nile Crocs means one of the most glorious hunting seasons we've ever had. I wonder how they taste, because Alligator tastes real good. They are at the VERY top of the food chain in the Everglades here so they literally have not developed fear, so they rarely give a shit about human visitors around them. Nile Crocs on the other hand evolved to be aggressive due to the extremely dangerous environment they live in, with their prey being so large and capable of killing them, and of course the off-chance that a Hippo absolutely destroys them. Jokes aside, having Crocs in the ecosystem could fuck it up real bad. They're mean sons-a-bitches.
Damn, I live right next to the everglades. Atleast they were captured near Miami
Does it matter when they have caught like 30 foot gators in modern times?
I've been to alligator farms before(some were pretty large) and I'm not really scared of them. I'd be pretty terrified for even being near Nile crocodile's or even salt water crocs.

They're so freaking adorable. Especially the babies. Oh god the babies. Yeah gators mostly just lay on the edge of lakes and ponds or lay in the water with there mouth open waiting for a fish to slip in. There docile to humans for the most part only ones you should really look out for are mothers because they become extremely territorial, or if you have kids or small animals because they will eat anything to fits in there mouth sometime not even living things like tires :v:. So pretty much they are lazy adorable predators that will eat the easiest thing to eat.
Oh god. It's a new species of flying croc. :worried:
You could literally sit on top of them and they wouldn't give a shit. My biggest dream is to own my own gator farm one day. Probably my favorite animal on Earth, to be completely honest.
Of course it's only three captured, so we may be worried for nothing. May be, is the key phrase though.
Man what is it with Florida and rich people dumping their unwanted exotic pets?
Of course it's only three captured, so we may be worried for nothing. May be, is the key phrase though.
It's always safe to assume there will be more. That being said a Florida FP Croc hunt meet-up would be pretty bitchin'
