I wouldn't even wonder if in 10 years all boys play with barbie dolls.
it's just sad seen in retrospective.
and today marines, soldiers and brave heroes alike are allowed to dishonor their uniforms like that.
it is also sad that i am suddenly viewed as a neo-nazi because i piss off some bronies.
fix up your hipocrisy before you complain about mine.
There's a huge fan base for bronies. It's so big that a small fraction is still a huge amount. And someone can like music, art, websites, etc and not be over obsessive about the show.
I know a lot of people who just like the show, have an avatar relating to it online, enjoy some art and that's it. The people who are obsessive about are people like my roommate and his 5-6 brony friends. And I'm not kidding with that either. I used to think every brony was obsessed until I saw these guys. He and his friends all own pony merchandise (blankets, plushies, ears/horns, etc), go to brony related clubs/conventions/get togethers almost every week, have pony persona avatars, a D&D Pony Campaign, always have Equestria Daily open 24/7, drink user-created Pony-Related alcoholic mix drinks, etc. Hell, you know what they did one day while we were at Target? They went to the girl's section to look for those MLP toys that in the package so you don't know which one they are. And guess what, they actually had on their phones (probably off that blog) the spreadsheet on how to identify which one is hiding in the package based on the product code or whatever. That's overboard.
There was even a week when my roommate wouldn't stop ordering kids meals from McDonald's until he got all the MLP toys when they were having them. And he was happy when he managed to convert some girl we both knew into a brony.
That's the very definition of a dangerously obsessed person. But strangely enough, they are still a minority. It's just the amount of shit they do is annoying and it's so frequent that they look like the majority.
can i die
Because it might be the one thing that stops them from committing suicide and it's their way of escaping their harsh reality. Some others use alcohol, drugs, video games, tv, movies and so on.
It's also their reminder for humanity.
Hell, you never know if one of these brony marines gets captured by their enemies and finds out that the enemies are bronies themselves.
I'm pretty sure if a US Army soldier was captured by insurgents, it would go like this
"What does the patch mean?!"
"It means I watch My Little Pony"
*Insurgents commit suicide, soldier walks free, win win for everyone involved.*

oh fucking hell
first of all who cares if they play with barbies if they want to
and secondly this isnt every guy ever, it's a minority. i would reckon most of these people do it for social/recognition issues rather than them liking the show as much as they say
you are really coming off as a neo-nazi actually

Merge was broken but this basically explains it all.
Facepunch loves ponies. That's why it's the second most popular thread with over 100 people reading.
theres a hundred people reading because seeing threads collapse on themselves is fun to watch
Oh no about 30 people out of 1.5 million soldiers have brony badges on their uniforms.
RIP america RIP manly men RIP uniforms

This Video is so damn true.
so true that it hurts.
I wouldn't even wonder if in 10 years all boys play with barbie dolls.
lol yeah because we totally don't have people that enjoy the idea of sharing similarities with the opposite sex, nope anyone who does that is a freak and should be arrested as soon as possible!
and today marines, soldiers and brave heroes alike are allowed to dishonor their uniforms like that.
it's an easily-removed patch that is going to be worn for a few days whilst on leave. it will not be worn at a point where it will be able to affect any government-given duties.
it is also sad that i am suddenly viewed as a neo-nazi because i piss off some bronies.
you're being viewed as a neo-nazi because your argument draws unpleasant parallels to the way gays were treated in the 40's and 50's, you literally just said that it would be weird if a young boy wanted to enjoy a girl's toy.
fix up your hipocrisy before you complain about mine.
did Peewee Herman tell you to use the word "hypocrisy" as much as possible or something? do you even know what the word means?
This Video is so damn true.

okay mr. barbies
you're really helping the cause instead of bitching about it
oh wait
I wouldn't even wonder if in 10 years all boys play with barbie dolls.
Funny you should mention Barbies
Cone's long read of wizu-bitching to de-rail
So you are connecting hatred upon a vocal community to hunting down people of different sexual attractions?
How is this related in the any way?
oh, yeah. we are going off-topic. jus' saying.

No matter where you're at if you're in uniform, you treat that uniform with respect. There is a reason there is regulations against things like this. Just like how you can only wear earth colored watches. It just isn't professional. It's a uniform for a reason. You aren't meant to stand out in a uniform. The point of a uniform is to to be one in the same with your brother and sisters in your respective branch. Not to mention its combat effectiveness.
You dont hate the people who like the show. You hate the people who rub it in your face or do weird shit. Recently I'm starting to think everybody is just jumping on the bandwagon of hate.
We are all people.
Pones are just maximum pussy, why would you put that on your war uniform.

I agree, and I hope the patches will be removed before anyone catches them wearing them. I just think everyone's getting a bit angrier than is necessary solely because it's an MLP patch.
So you are connecting hatred upon a vocal community to hunting down people of different sexual attractions?
I'm connected this statement:
I wouldn't even wonder if in 10 years all boys play with barbie dolls.
with the idea that you think that would be strange and bizarre. do you not think that?
I'm not a fan of the whole pony fad that's been going on on the internet, but in all honesty I feel that people who pretend to or actually froth with rage over it and then proceed to take a shit on their keyboard are more annoying than any brony has ever been.
Pones are just maximum pussy, why would you put that on your war uniform.
Like seriously. We get it. You think ponies are girly.
You can stop trying to assert your manhood now.
They treat their uniforms like that? wearing it outside of duty is enough to get you preverbally strung up over here. Plus you would look like a total dick. Not a very good representation of a smart soldier like manner.
I don't get how grown men can like ponies. I mean shit, even if I was younger and I liked ponies my father would probably whoop my ass and call me a faggot.

your father doesn't sound like a very nice man
