White House takes down a petition about the TSA right before it was going to reach its goal.

Have they taken consideration of any of the petitions or have they all been answered with a generic "we appreciate your concern, but we won't change anything"?

No. They never said they would do anything. The administration simply states what its stance is and what they plan to do to fix/solve/resolve X issue, if anything.
it failed to meet the signature threshold
you failed first grade
Tbh, why did it take so long for 25k signatures. I remember this website when released and then it kinda just died out.
25k americans is easy to find on the internet.

If they don't do anything, then what is the point in having it in the first place? The answers they give are pretty obvious on each question so the whole thing seems useless.

Yep. It's just another method of campaigning because it lets people know what Obama's stance is on certain issues.
It was cut 30 minutes before the deadline, probably because they knew it wasn't going to get the required signatures in time. The entire purpose of the website is for the white house to gauge general wants and needs of the public, it is NOT to bring about change from a 25,000 person petition in a country of 300,000,000 people. They now know about this issue. Seriously, if you kids would stop with your "government conspiracy" nonsense and incessant need to bash America with "freedom lolo XD" maybe you would actually be able to learn the facts.

You realize that those sites can be accessed by people from other countries, too, right?
Hell, go into a political discussion here on FP and more than half the posters will be from another country, explaining to us why our way of life is wrong.
No, most of em are trolls anyway.
why does that matter when there's plenty of relevant petitions going on
